Seoul Kimchi in Manchester

Ordered the short ribs, cheese tteopoki, beef gimbab and seafood pancake.Short ribs: came with rice and the short ribs were VERY tasty and flavourful. Really nice dish. only downside was the meat was very tough. you need some strong teeth or ask the staff for a pair of scissors.Cheese tteopoki: a dish I usually order whenever I go to a korean restaurant. tastes nice, not spicy at all. the dish itself has mushrooms and other vegetables in it.Beef gimbab: beef is minced beef and the gimbab has quite a lot of cucumbers. Tastes nice.Seafood pancake: alot of seafood and ingredients but the pancake itself was not nice. it was very soggy and flat. The korean pancakes I normally have are crispy on the outside and chewy on the inside but this wasnt like that.Place is really small so limited seating.

Nice little place for lunch. Good amount of dishes on the menu and a nice vibem really tasty food. Had the gyoza, pancakes and bulgogi!

Food portions reduced tremendously and it is all like starter sizes now, I felt like I was in a Michelin star restaurant and starving even after eating. Price has also became much expensive. That is from the comparison to pre covid point of view. However, without making any comparison to pre covid, the service is still bad. Appreciate the staff is extremely polite, but the "forgotten tea" and "forgotten rice" that we have ordered for ages was just bad, as we were getting the stress of table may be required and also eating the spicy food without water until we nearly finish our food.

I've been here twice and waited a significant amount of time to be told they are "not doing takeout right now" due to staff shortage. I asked, you're not doing any takeout? They told me no on both occasions. Pretty terrible service in my opinion when the place was full of people eating. I doubt I'll bother again. If I was you I wouldnt bother going when it even looks remotely busy as they simply can't handle it

Absolutely fantastic food and service. We had beef bulgogi and chicken bibimbap and they were both superb. It's a quirky place but don't let that put you off in the slightest, it's a real experience and we'll be going again. Also there's parking at the side.

A small and compact restaurant with 4-5 tables only. Once you enter and order food you enter a different world. Ordered Bibimbap , goyza and stir fry. Food was very good and makes you crave for more.

The best Korean food in Manchester, without a doubt. Nothing disappoints in here, everything tastes AMAZING.

Amazing traditional Korean restaurant! Very cosy and quirky. My friend got the beef bibimbap and I had the kimchi pork soup, both excellent and good value for money.Travelled from Stoke as we don’t have any Korean restaurants, we shall definitely be visiting again. 👍🏻

Amazing place to eat authentic Korean food. The staff are very nice and accommodating, great selection of food and good value for money. Orders were served promptly and presented very well. I ordered plum tea and their homemade matcha green tea ice cream which were very yummy! Would definitely recommend this place 👍🏻
