Both myself and my partner celebrated my birthday at Tattu and it was absolutely divine! Our waiter, Edwin, was brilliant and it was so refreshing that he knew the menu inside and out, took care of us the whole duration, explained the menu beautifully and nothing was ever too much to ask for. I have wanted to go to Tattu for some time, and as we are from London, the Manchester restaurant isn’t exactly round the corner, so when making our trip to Manchester, we was hoping Tattu lived up to its reviews and pictures online. All thanks to the amazing food and our waiter Edwin, I would highly recommend Tattu to anyone visiting Manchester! We hope to see you soon - and hopefully we can be seated in Edwin’s section!

Decent meal, it’s definitely one of those style over substance places though. The food looks good, but doesn’t taste nearly as good as it photographs, not that it tastes bad. Basically, it wasn’t worth the asking price and the place is sort of overhyped. I feel like, with here, you’re paying for the vibe of the joint rather than the quality/taste of the food. With saying that, if you’re someone that doesn’t go out for fine dining very often you probably won’t notice and will think this is great, each to their own I guess. The staff were great though & the ambiance was nice. Definitely not the worst choice you could make.

I've always been wanting to try tattu for quite some time now. Especially knowing that there are only four (4) restaurants in the UK and they have yet to open their 5th in London which makes it even more in demand. The Emperor's Choice Menu is what I had and boy I felt so stuffed I couldn't finish some of the plates. The food was really good and flavourful. The plates kept coming and surprising each and every course. From what I gather, I believe the Manchester branch is their first restaurant, although not really looking like a flagship restaurant when I browsed through all the other three (3), especially eyeing the one in Edinburgh, but the interiors here were as I would've hoped for. The sakura tree looked stunning as did the anchors with the rose backdrop downstairs.I just didn't like how small the table was. There's barely enough space to move around and quite accident-prone. Also the dismissive attitude from the receptionist downstairs by the entrance was definitely unwelcomed. And despite that I really enjoyed the experience, I wasn't compelled enough to come back. Perhaps at the upcoming London branch.

Tattu presents a unique experience for dining taking a traditional takeaway set menu and uplifting it in to something far more spectacular. Their range topping emperor menu presents value for money with several waves (or courses) including a perfectly cooked and seasoned wagyu ribeye sliced for sharing.Combine that with some equally interesting and delicious cocktails, as well as attentive staff and the experience is something rarely found.

Fantastic food, engaging decor and great service. You do pay for it but for a special occasion it is superb. They didn't have the Scallops but the River Shrimps replacement did not disappoint and were, for me, the best dish of the Emperors Choice meal (and that's saying something considering my love of desserts)!Speaking of desserts, the Chocolate & Hazelnut Pagoda was gorgeous and such a generous portion that we were unable to finish the Dragon Egg after all the lovely food!

Absolutely the best Chinese restaurant in Manchester with a modern take on traditional recipes. They have a large small plates menu to share in a group or not, there cocktails are well balanced and go the extra mile in presentation. Service was very friendly and made us feel comfortable and was always there to give advice on what to order. Can't wait to go again.

We had the most amazing experience! The service was first class, Sandy and the team were excellent and the food was incredible. We booked a table for a birthday and it was one to remember. Thank you Tattu team, we will be coming back again without a doubt!

The food here was AMAZING. As a vegetarian I was extremely happy with their veggie options which were absolutely incredible. I like how you can eat the food in a tapas style if you want, or you can have the traditional way of starters/mains/dessert. The veggie chicken dish is insanely good - you could hardly tell it isn't real chicken and the flavours are perfection 👌🏼. The drinks are nice and the bento box drink is very fun. The decor of the space is also very beautiful. Have already planned to go back here next time I am in Manchester.

What a PHENOMENAL experience from start to finishThe staff are friendly and welcoming, the interior is relaxing, the music is spot on, and the FOOD is out of this worldMy daughter treated me on this occasion, and she explained to the staff when booking that I am very socially awkward. Nothing was too much for them, and they reserved us a more private table that certainly ensured I could relaxWe didn't feel rushed, and the waiters were attentive - without being overbearing and pushy10/10 all the way 👏
