Great food and nice atmosphere.I went for the Chicken, Bacon and cabbage pie with chips and gravy. It was full of flavour, well presented and very filling.I would definitely return here again in the future.

This is the third time I have enjoyed a Sunday Roast here and what a culinary delight it has been each and every time! The taste sensations my mouth experiences from the 🌿 herb infused vegetables is just incredible 👌 tender meat 🍖, perfectly cooked and I even had Mushroom Wellington on one visit and WOW! The Yorkshire 🍮 puddings are MAHUSSIVE and fluffy...I look forward to returning time and time again whenever I visit my granddaughter as at only 10 months old she thoroughly enjoyed the food too and nothing is ever too much trouble.Thank you Bay Horse Team! 🐎

I went today and the staff seemed really nice. We ordered right before the couple next to us. Within 15 minutes they got their food and ordered another portion of chips which came within 5 minutes. They ate, paid and left while I waited an hour before giving up as I needed to leave. Paid for my drink and left, when I informed the man at the bar he didn’t say sorry just let me pay for my drinks. Was very disappointed, when I’ve been before it’s been great. I even informed them after half an hour and they said wait another 5 minutes and they’ll go and check. No one checked.

Went for a roast with a few friends yesterday. We were all looking forward to it after it being voted one of the fave spots in town for a roast. Ordered tempura prawns.. they came out looking like beer battered bits of scampi. We all ordered the chicken roast which sadly seemed like it had been deep fried to an inch of its life. Was so dry and tough. The veg was ok, cauliflower cheese was very tasteless.. overall really disappointing meal. For the price would expect much better. Won’t be going back for a roast.

Don't come here in January or if its cold!Staff opened the door in January when it's baltic and told us it's due to 'ventilation', however on hearing staff conversation it was actually because one of the bartenders was too hot!Worked in many bars and clubs in my time, if you are too hot get over it, or go outside to cool down. Don't make it so 3 tables move and we take our custom elsewhere! Bad idea guys.

Excellent little Victorian style gastro pub.Good selection of beers and wines and the food is just lovely. The staff are friendly and welcoming and it's just a really comfy warm place to enjoy. The staff are outstanding, I fact just the other day whilst me and my beautiful wife were enjoying a delicious steak pie (they cook it with Guiness, so rich and tasty)She fell Into labour, a very quick and aggressive labour, without even a flinch the barstaff vaulted the bar with the graceful hands and knowledge of a tenured midwife, delivered my third beautiful daughter right there and then,Ten out of ten work, would certainly go again.Dog friendly too.

Portion size was massive; well worth the money! Staff were friendly and observant. Lovely vibe and ambiance.

I took my parents here for my mum's birthday. Admittedly they did find the music a bit loud, but me and my partner really enjoyed it. The food was all fresh and delicious with the pie being absolute crammed with meat. My dad had the fish and said it was really nice. Definitely keen to go back soon.
