The Chicken Run in Manchester

As ever, busy, busy shop. I have eaten from there over the years. I like the comfort of knowing I can still get pineapple cake. I love the diversity of people buying from the shop.

Came here for the famous chicken splits, not sure what to make of it really. Service was pretty slow, it wasn't bad, but every question we asked had to be followed up by someone else, and the split itself was sooooo unbelievably greasy, I mean I eat anything, and so does my mate, but neither of us could finish it. Shame, if been looking forwards to it for ages

There is not a single person in mossids that does not know about this local hidden gem. Best known for their chicken splits which we highly recommend. Customer service is in a chilled out manner and the atmosphere is a jovial relaxed one. If your in the area, you need to experience it!

Well established Caribbean takeaway and for good reason the food is delicious. staff are welcoming can get busy but worth the wait. Parking available on the street

This place has gone down hill, this is second time I got dry food no jerk sauce, two type different chicken when I asked jerk chicken

I got introduced to Chicken Run by a friend, ever since when ever I get the chance I always return and recommend this place to anyone I meet.Firstly the food - the chicken / dumplings / curried goat / Homemade cakes & the many other delicious delicacies they do are the best Jamaican Food you’ll try any where in Manchester. Personally I always have the succulent chicken drumsticks & Chicken Split - you’ve not tried anything until you’ve tried one from here.And secondly the service is always great, no matter how busy it gets and it gets really busy you’ll always be served with professionalism and a smile.If your ever in Manchester and want to try the Jamaican Tastes & local cuisine to the area defiantly give here a go.

One of the best place for carribian food, I loved the taste and freshness and the service of the place. If you never visited this place in Manchester then I am sorry you have missed the beautiful taste of Caribbean in Manchester. I just got home and the Curried Goat and rice and veg were totally stone cold not even Luke warm and the staff need to be a bit more friendly. I have been going to this place since a young child. Embarrassing, sort it out.

One of Manchester Oldset ORIGINAL Chicken shops steeped in decade's of traditional Caribbean flavours, culture an traditional recipes guaranteed to stir your soul as well as your tastebuds.From the delicate blends of spices to sumptuously soft and flaky pastry of the patties this great place has something for everyone. From hand made, fresh patties dinners and cakes you'll always be coming back for more and why not wash it down with some of their homemade juices.The staff are amazing and some complain about the small wait but for me it just adds to the excitement when you finally get to eat. If this doesn't become one of your staples once a week you've no food sense at all.Love this joint.

Excellent Carribbean eatery!! This place was recommended by a friend whilst I was in Manchester.The food was delicious 👌🏿 I had the fish, jerk chicken, chicken split, veg, pineapple cake, banana cake, pineapple punch and loved every bit of it.The next time I am in Manchester, I'll definitely go back. This place is highly recommended, you won't regret trying it out.
