Really good pub! We visit every week after playing football and are never disappointed. Kevin and Yvonne were also kind enough to let us host our Xmas do there. Top selection of beers, friendly service and being able to order in food from outside is a lovely touch. There aren't many boozers like this left. Easy 5 stars

Awesome pub! One of few traditional pubs left near the city centre. It has a good range of well kept ales, good atmosphere and the owner is a really nice guy. Definitely coming back!

Great little pub by the University. Really traditional pub, always a good beer selection and reasonable prices. Do decent home cooked 'pub grub' too. Love popping in after work for a couple. Friendly couple owners, highly recommend.

I've visited the Ducie Arms numerous times in the past and have had a thoroughly enjoyable experience each time.The Landlord and Landlady are both very welcoming and you can tell they take pride in the pub. They've always been happy to help and are extremely accommodating whenever I've come in as part of a large (or small!) group. The food and drink (both have always been very nice) are well priced and a lot better value than can be found at a couple of the nearby establishments.If you're visiting the University for an Open Day or Graduation ceremony then the Ducie is ideally located, just behind the Mansfield Copper building and Main Library. I've been in after both of my graduation ceremonies because I know it won't let me down on a special day.
