The Font in Manchester

Good for the cocktails, but not the beers on the day we went as not many available.We were reliving our youth and haven't visited for 10 years - apart from the art on the wall, and a bit of a menu change, everything was how we remembered. Does feel like it needs a clean and some of the furniture was broken. But can't really complain too much when the cocktails start at £3!.. and I'm sure that we are the target market anymore - fantastic for students! We used to love the place.

The Font has an awesome vibe, and although their cocktail menu has been streamlined over the years I still think it's definitely worth checking out. Beware though! It's good so it can be busy busy busy on weekends, and plays loud-ish music later on in the evening.

Whether you're a student or adult. This is the cheapest place in town for cocktails. Always offers on e.g. Happy hour, 2 for £5 etc. The place is clean and has a nice atmosphere. Drinks are topped with sweets and tend to be ready quite quickly. Lovely establishment. Never disappoints

Quite a large venue, more than you'd realise from outside, with upstairs and downstairs. Not a huge selection of food, but what they do (mostly chicken wings and sides) is cheap and very tasty. Only downside is that it can get a bit noisy, both in terms of the cheese pop music, and the large student parties there presumably for that music.

Fun place to be! Great selection of cocktails and mocktails at affordable prices. They do soft drink, hot drink and beer too!

Cool art on the walls and good choice of beers etc. Bar staff were cool and chatty. Music a bit 'meh' with stuff I didn't care for back in the 90s pumping out mostly. First time I've ever been told where I can/can't sit in a pub/bar by some guy who worked there. Inspired me to leave before mates arrived sadly. Shame as it seemed like an okay joint.

Who doesn't love £2 cocktails?! I love this place and the delicious cocktails! The staff are hit and miss. Sometimes lovely, sometimes passive and rude. It's nice to go in here when it's quiet, otherwise it is full of students and sticky tables/floors. The chairs and sofas need to be updated too as they're all falling apart! (kind of adds to the dingey vibe)

Staff here were lovely and friendly! We sat outside in the sun and ordered cocktails! The photos on the website looked lush but when they came they were quite disappointing. Toilets inside weren't very clean either.

We generally Always make a pit stop here on a night out in Manchester due to its cheap and nice cocktails. Only fault it has is that it always takes a long time to get served.

Unique place, never had cocktails like this before. Really satisfies the sweet tooth but also has some more alcoholic tasting cocktails too. Particularly recommend strawberries and cream, jaffa cake and mudslide. Jammie dodger is worth it too for the slightly higher price. Been here many times before and it's never let me down, the happy hour offers are also great. Most nice and cheap (£2-£3) with some others around the £5-£7 range so enough options for choice depending on how much you feel like spending on drink.
