Staff and extremely friendly, the food is great and reasonably priced, the portions are generous. The live music on Sundays is fantastic too. I always look forward to that.

Great venue to hire rooms for events. I attend a baby massage class here and the staff are fantastic. Welcoming and couldn't be more helpful.

Sunday dinner was bad, I could build a baracade wall with the solid hard vegetables. My friends roast chicken was pink inside. The staff were lovely one offered 2 bottles of wine as compensation. Then gave us one but the manager wouldn’t authorise the second but did not communicated this to the table. The 3 cheese cauliflower cheese had literally 3 grated cheese pieces….no sauce and rock solid. We did get this refunded. The piggies in blankets were anaemic the only saving grace was the Yorkshire pudding and beef.It took an hour for the food to arrive, then after waiting 20 minutes for the manager who was ‘not meant to be working today’ as if I should be grateful he was seeing me at all! He was arrogant rude and once I explained the term ‘managing customer expectations’ he stopped being as rude. A couple before me gave up waiting for the manager to complain….you get the jist of underwhelming it was. Would not go again that’s for sure!!!

I had my birthday party here and highly rate the staff. They are so friendly - bar man for my party was lovely, other staff helping out were brilliant and accommodating. We just wanted a nice chill event for everyone to get together and it was perfect. No hassle or fuss, some of my friends were planning on booking the same place for their own events. Thanks for the good night to everyone at The Lloyds!

Not been here for a while but thought we would give it a go as it is dog friendly. We were in there more than 2 hours and had only been given the starter. We asked if our mains were going to be much longer and were told someone would check. A good few minutes later someone came and said it would be another 30 minute wait so we asked to cancel. He said that was fine and he would get a manager. No one came over and the dogs were getting fed up at this point so we went to the bar to get money back for the mains that didn't arrive. Waited another 15 minutes for someone to refund us. Didn't seem remotely bothered, no offer of a discount or anything else for the trouble. Would be unlikely to go back in the future.

Hosted a baby shower in events room this weekend, had a wonderful time. Buffet was delicious, especially the quiche and sausage rolls, great selection of freshly made sandwiches with home cooked meats and more. Absolute value for money. Staff were exemplary. They were committed to making sure the event went without a hitch; attentive to every need. Cannot praise them enough. Highly recommend.

Lovely pub with really friendly staff and a nice atmosphere. Really impressed with the food which is much better than standard pub food. Will definitely return!

A standard pub service boring food. Located on the edge of Chorlton this pub set in a lovely, spacious building is sadly lacking much to recommend it. It's good for a pint and staff were friendly. The beer garden is next to a main road, chips are ok, the prawns with chorizo was barely warm (even the bread wasn't toasted). It does host events like a pub quiz (and psychic readings?). It would be good for a group drink with friends but food wise it's heavily leaning on meal deals and there's far better places to eat within a 2 min walk.
