Good choice of food and drinks, 5 small plates huge portions for £10 and 2 for 1 cocktails. Nice atmosphere watching the rugby!

Thursday lunchtime,friendly staff. Enjoyed the food and drink at a really affordable price under £10. Lasagne, chips extra and a pint of John Smith.

Very clean pub and nicely decorated. Bar stocked a range of drinks at reasonable prices for the city centre. Only downside was the major crowding and lack of seating; there didn't seem to be enough staff to cater for the football match night. Staff were rushed off their feet by no fault of their own but were clearly determined to do their best. However, I would still recommend as I am sure service would be better on an average day.

Great place for a drink, and great prices for the city centre too. Usually a great choice of beers, with various cask ales rotating as well as a few alcohol free options. Big thanks to Shan for her great service too!!

lots of screens to watch the sports. the food looked amazing. its a decent size so didn't feel to crowded. fast service at the bar. friendly staff

Come to this pub every time I am in the area, always good to see Bruce, he seems to be at work every visit! Always helpful and very knowledgeable about the cricket!

Absolutely fantastic barmaid Shan and would definitely come back here, welcoming friendly and a credit to the pub were from Huddersfield and would most definitely travel back here if hospitality is provided in this scale made to feel welcome and a smile on their face. Thank you Shan.

I don't think you can look anywhere in this pub without being able to see a TV. Nice cheap spoons-esque menu and can order to table via app.

Great place to have a drink. And they serve San Miguel so it gets my vote. The menu looks great and the offers they have are also great will go back to try the food Bar staff friendly enough. One down side toilets are up some very long stairs but when you do get to them they are the cleanest toilets I've seen in a very long time so it's worth the climb .disabled toilets are on the grand floorCan recommend this pub fantastic for sports as it as a number of TV all round the pub .
