Been on two occasions. Nice cafe, hot chocolate nice. Should tell people on website or something that they close the kitchen at 3pm... even though they close at 4pm...

New years eve about 11am. Turned up to have a breakfast after an appointment nearby and we found on Google maps as a place marked as open.We turned up and the shutters were down but their doors open, we went inside to the counter to be told they are closed by a lady who wasn't that friendly, closed despite a man sat there at a table with a coffee and eating a snack.Dissapointed and won't be going back to try. Would have been an idea to update social media if you know Your going to be closed. (Including google)Dissapointed as you had so many lovely and great reviews.

A hidden gem I never knew existed and now that I do I will be frequenting more. A very open airy space to eat well cooked, tasty food and to be surrounded by friendly, chatty, welcoming staff. It was an absolute pleasure to stumble across this wonder of wythenshawe 😊😊

It never ceases to amaze me how nice, friendly, loving and caring the staff and volunteers are at The Mess Cafe and Community Store.They are a great bunch of people who do a fantastic job.From the moment you walk in to leaving the place you are made to feel welcome. Nothing is too much trouble.The food and drinks at the cafe are tasty, filling and very definitely worth the money and cooked to perfection. The Community Food store is also a huge help to a great many people and is well worth the visit.Thank you so much everyone at The Mess🙏👌

An absolutely fab cafe and hidden gem of a place, well worth a trip. The staff give the warmest of welcome and really make you feel at home. The menu is varied and great quality for breakfast and all day brunch, with sandwiches and salads. Spacious and relaxed layout too.

Lovely little cafe. Food was very nice, came out quickly and service very friendly. The cafe has parking available out front too. The gourmet chips were really tasty 👌

This place feels like home, I’m always welcomed with a smile and the food, drinks and service is beyond excellent. The decor is so lovely, I find myself getting ideas. The staff are warm and friendly and the company is doing amazing work for our community!
