Really lovely rooms, characterful and very clean, good facilities, comfortable and quiet despite being surrounded by building work. Bar Closed very early, even for residents and was out of stock of several spirits, this left our group at a bit of a loose end. Also very disappointed no veggie cooked breakfast and no veggie option for lunch!

Always a great place to stay for us.Lovely staff and hotel.Only small car park, but there is a multi story 5 minute walk away.Great location for theatre, and 10 minute walk to centre for shops.WebStayed in one of the top suites as a treat for ourbwedding anniversary.I have included some photos of the room so you know what your getting for the price on website.

Our whole staying was perfect! Beautiful hotel and beautiful people! At reception we met Silvio, he was so friendly and kind, really polite! He gave us one of the best rooms with amazing view! At dinner in restorant everybody made us feel special, from a lady at the bar (small, black hair, glasses) and guys, Dimitri e Quasi, so precise, fast and generous! Nice food and drinks menu, good position of hotel, beautiful interior design, all recommendations, will be back for sure!

Lovely hotel with quirky decor, very comfortable room and extremely polite and helpful staff. Good breakfast and excellent service. Location also good and only 1 mile from Manchester arena. Limited parking at hotel but NCP with reduced rate a few minutes walk from hotel. Would definitely stay here again and recommend to others.

Beautiful hotel. Its decor is done well showing the original features. Room nice but a little dark and cold even with heating on full.and all lights on. Would of been nice if there was robes and slippers but none.We had a 2 night stay, had breakfast included but on our last day a member of staff in the restaurant came over and said we needed to pay. I explained it was included again. He said no it wasn't. . He then checked and confirmed thatI was actually correct. . But didn't apologise.

Nice comfortable room is the only positive from our stay. Staff very inexperienced from a hospitality standpoint. No attention to detail or due diligence evident. Mice running up the wall in the bar & when it was caught & complaint made, staff laughed it off, clearly not the first time rodents had made an appearance. Food in bar of very poor quality, undercooked & again complaints to staff not acknowledged. Breakfast buffet food still out on display at lunch time with staff visibly squabbling over who’s job it was to clear it away. Very disappointed with this overall for a Marriott hotel. Won’t be staying here again

I really enjoy this hotel for its location and proximity to the city and great restaurants. The breakfast is good as well. The bar/restaurant on the ground floor has a nice relaxing vibe. A bit modern, but not too fancy. Fun to watch sports here while catching up with friends. EverThe rooms are decent. No frills, but we'll finished and arranged. I've stayed here twice and found it a pleasant stay both times.

Great staff, certainly friendly and knowledgeable. Our room was partly refurbished to the point that the dressing table, hence, make up area no longer had a mirror, bathroom mirror too steamed up to put make up on. Previous trips here have always had the bar open on our return from dinner, had to order night cap from reception to have in our room, slightly disappointing. Fabulous breakfast.

3 sisters first stay in Manchester booked for a birthday. Lovely friendly welcome on our arrival and helpful polite front desk staff. Nice size clean room with the basic needs however the bed moved quite freely due to wheels so not so stable. Was perfect for a group like us who were looking to explore the city and just use the room for evening rest. In a good location not too far from main stations and various bus stop connections.Would recommend/stay again.
