I may have been in here once before a long time ago so much so that I don't really remember. I did this time around as a lovely traditional style modern pub. Great atmosphere, good selection drinks and they pour an excellent pint of Guinness. They had a pale ale called Aurora on which I recommend

Well what a lovely little pub! Great selection of cask ale. Warm, friendly environment. Staff are great. Will be back again. Thank you for helping me recommendations of other places to visit

·

Great friendly old pub, Staff really aware of Covid and are cleaning all the tables and bar area every few minutes, staff friendly and helpful with drinks, great range ( not expensive for a city pub, customers enjoyed the evening with no problems, had some nice food here as well, would recommend this pub to everyone, very inclusive, and everyone welcome

Last few pints last night before heading back home to London.Used to live round the corner from this place and always have enjoyed a pint in here! Staff are always lovely, chatty and welcoming.Food looks good and hearty portions (friend of mine ate last night) and they have a good selection of lagers/beers on offer.Location is fantastic, near major hotels, Manc Picc Train Station and Piccadilly Gardens!Shows the footy too with loads of big screen - only downside is that it’s a City pub…. 😉😁Top little boozer for a few pints and a couple of games of footy!! A gem!

I've been popping in a few times recently and it's so great to see the rotation of beers available! Was delighted to see an Innis & Gunn pump installed recently! I'll be in a lot more often. The staff were friendly and really helpful with recommending what to drink! Fantastic place

Not been in for long time however found me and large group of friends in last Saturday and it has changed ( for the better) Had really good time and good selection of beers. May not be trendy but certainly comfortable and friendly.

The pub is great we go most Tuesday lunch times however today the post mix was broken which is not a problem and can't be helped and I don't mind having a glass of coke out if a large bottle but I do object to paying £2.30 for it. I actually bought 3 glasses so total £6.90. How much is a bottle Coke 🤔 not a happy customer today

Nice pub, friendly staff and good food in a great location (not far from the station). Veggie burger available which is good to see. Sports on TV but also good music in background.

·

Nice little pub in the city. Alot of the food menu wasn't available.

Enjoyed a Girls night out here last night. (Friday 21st May 2021) Lovely welcome from the staff, good atmosphere spotlessly clean and the beer was excellent, they obviously keep an excellent celler.
