Tried this places last month after sewing reviews and I am a very fussy customer and I was impressedAs you walk in you can't help noticing how clean the place is with a simple easy to read menuThe owner I'm guessing it's the gentleman he treats everyone regardless of how they look like your important I've never experienced that from any place and it made me feel good and appreciated, we need more people like him.That aside I still wanted to review my food honestly and all I can say the fish was nice a flakey and gas a crispy battery, the chips were chunky , crispy outside and fluffy inside and the mushy peas were made to perfectionOnly downside if i have to be picky is they should give a slice of lemon with every fish n chips like they do in scotland as lemon and fish dance well together also a large fish option would be greatI will be back again

Best fish and chips around. Lovely staff. Very friendly and efficient. They have a nice seating area now which is very handy when we visit on match days. We look forward to going to Tonys as much as seeing the football.

Honestly, besides the crunchiness of the food every thing else was pretty blend, was very surprised on how tasteless the fish and the chips were. I had much higher expectations and got out a bit sad. Beside the inside looking very pleasant and warm, I won’t be recommending this place often…

It was a disappointment for me when I read the reviews for this place I thought that I'll have good fish and chips, but the taste is not traditional as the name says

Food is GREAT and the girls serving are lovely. However the man there, I’m assuming Tony?, can we quite rude/doesn’t create a friendly atmosphere. However I will continue to use as the food is delicious.

We ordered for collection and the staff were so friendly and welcoming. We ordered fish and mushy peas, curry chips and a foot long battered sausage shared between the two of us for under £10. I enjoyed most of the order apart from the curry which I thought it was fairly bland and there were a lot of bits of flour for thickening. The fish was spot-on though; fresh and crispy which is rare being in the city centre and nowhere near the beach/ seaside. The price was very reasonable and cheap for the generous portion.Would definitely come back again!

My favourite fish and chips every time i’m in Manchester 👌 Clean premises and the staff are nice. You can tell they care about what their customers are eating. Keep it up 👍
