A hidden escape right in the middle of Manchester City!We adore this stunning green escape. @thewhitworthcafe is made entirely out of glass and steel. The restaurant provides 360deg views while you enjoy a beautiful lunch.We ordered the Rose Lemonade (pro tip: ask for a glass with a slice of lemon in it for extra lux). Our food included the Nourish Bowl with Chicken (£9.50) and Roast Pepper & Artichoke Barbakan Sourdough Sandwhich (6.95). We thought they matched each other perfectly and loved sharing both of these options. We’d describe the food as very fresh tasting and we enjoyed it thoroughly. It would be perfect for a warm summers day or just a meal full of goodness.The best part of this restaurant, is by far the views. It’s peaceful and scenic whilst protected from the elements. We visited @thewhitworthcafe on a glorious sunny day and we’d love to go again when it was raining to experience the pitter patter of rain drops around you (without getting wet). Lovely Atmosphere for a coffee! However it was very cold in there. I can imagine it would be perfect in the summer.

nice mocha, good service, beautiful cafe :) perfect place to go to if u’d like to wind down with a hot cuppa while watching the sky n trees, or even for a study session after browsing through the art gallery! just wishing it opens for longer in the week

It is a lovely cafe over looking the park but it is a shame about the service. I waited over 20 minutes for 2 coffees, when there was no one in front of me in the queue. I also ordered toast to take out , it arrived with the butter wrapped up separately. Was I seriously expected to butter the toast outside with no utensils?! They just seemed grossly incompetent.

Food is dry. Not what is in menu. It says Lebanese falafel with beetroot hummus, . NO beetroot hummus! Falafel is very dry!

Rude staff, not buggy friendly. There was nowhere to sit when I got there after struggling to get my buggy through the door which was extremely narrow. No one offered help and the only table available was reserved.

A calm and peaceful atmosphere with a panoramic view all round of the park, the feel of being outside when in it was a lovely. We had some great hearty food, hot drinks and freshly baked cakes were delicious . Service was great staff were friendly will definitely visit again

Nice cafe as part of The Whitworth Gallery. Lovely situation overlooking the park with floor to ceiling glass. Food nice and prices reasonable. We just called in for coffee and a cake but they also do lunches and main meals.
