Woodstock Tavern in Manchester

Lovely roast! Their pork based roast os unbelievable, the meat melts in your mouth. I would definitely recommend it. They offer numerous draught beer and have a few special events throughout the week.The atmosphere is lovely, perfect for a chilled night or a sunday roast

The restaurant / pub had a good atmosphere. The menu was a little bit limited, especially with some items being unavailable. The food was tasty. The range of drinks was very good and the service was also very good and friendly.

Spare of the moment date night with the wife, thank you to Scott who managed to sort us a table. The food was delicious, drinks served really fast which is always a bonus when you have no kids 😁. Service was great from start to finish, will definitely be back again. Thanks Scott and the team

A decent Didsbury staple. Can't fault it. A place where you could take anyone, mates, parents, dog, work mates... Everyone is welcome and catered for. Gets busy in summer in the outside area, but that's because it's really good!

Well where shall I start we had a table booked eventually we got to sit down we ordered to find out the only meat on the menu was chicken and steak pie we ordered after 30mins of waiting the another 45 mins for it to be served the chips were cold the gravy what we got of it was like water terrrible then we asked for menus for desserts to be told they had none it was freezing so so disappointing I would not recommend it to anyone apart for the going in for a beer.

We had our Christmas dinner there.It was well cooked and there was lots of it.I was particularly impressed in how the staff dealt with an older couple who had not managed to pre-order and pay due to an email malfunction but were still catered for so their Christmas wasn't ruined.The only down side was that there was no green tea or decaf tea available.

8 of us came here the day after a heavy night out in town. We were worst for wear and extremely well looked after by the staff. We were served at the table and nothing was too much including shuttling cold water for my hungover wife on several occassions. We ordered a mixture of food, pizza, nacho's, halloumi fries. The food was outstanding and just what the doctor ordered. We also had an Australian guest who fell in love with Beaver Town Neck Oil which was recomended to try. Thank you again for looking after us!!!

My friend and I visited on Sunday 12 December for the festive lunch. It was great value and a real treat. Definitely recommend it. We often go to the Woodstock as it’s very relaxed and food is great.

Really nice place to get a beer on the terrace with some food- not overly expensive for the area. They have an upstairs area which is pretty neat. Definitely worth checking out.

Food was nice, service was good. I’m giving 4stars because they had run out of most of the menu so could only order pizza (7:00pm). The portion of chips was ridiculously small!
