Oppidan Social is a unique kind of social work space where we charge 8pence per person per minute and everything else is free. Guests are welcome to help themselves to the unlimited Oppidan Social kitchen goodies including coffees, teas, cakes, biscuits, fruits, cereals, breads, breakfasts and snacks. I go here every Saturday for making a Difference drama group and it's an amazing experience everytime. Clean, always a great spread of food with vegan options. Friendly helpful staff. Beautiful interior. A smoking balcony overlooking the Northern Quarter with its fantastic vibrant atmosphere. Quite possibly the coolest place to visit and hold events in, in Manchester. One of my favourite places to go to.

A great place to have a social gathering or quiet study area. There is plenty of room with lots of charger sockets and even free WiFi. They have creative supplies, boardgames, a games console, books.. all surrounded by a quirky décor. There is also a balcony to sit at which I bet is lovely in summer!There is also a range of food and drinks to help yourself to on the counter and kitchen. There is not much hot variety and some of the cakes taste stale but this can be overlooked with the cheap price.Overall I would recommend and definitely check them out again.

A brilliant idea, the perfect chilled place to kill some time or hang out with friends without feeling like you need to keep buying things to justify taking up a table. Super comfortable, home from home.

Lovely place - good if you have friends to hang out with and a great afternoon. Very unique concept for a café. I didn't stay here though for more than a few minutes at most because they didn't have chocolate or red velvet cake -_-
