First time eating at this place. The food was delicious and fast service. Friendly staff. I would definitely go again.

Where do I start. I arrived and it took them 30 minutes to take my drinks order. After they took the order it took about another 15 minutes to get the drink...by this point I was debating nipping to the corner shop to get me a drink to see me through. We then waited another half an hour before they took the food order...by this point I'd been there well over an hour. A lot of dishes had 'sold out" even though the place was quiet. Food finally arrived and my French fries were brown and massively overdone (not sure how you'd manage that other than forgetting about them!) We ordered a garlic bread with out meal which came out after we'd all eaten...the awkward conversation of "do you still want it?" Ensued. On the way out of the restaurant the server chased me out saying I hadn't settled the full amount. What he was referring to was the tip...I stated that service was poor and I'm not willing to pay £30 which had been added without my consent. Won't be going back, service terrible , food ok. Would give a zero if I could.

Had a lovely meal, the waitress was very helpful. One dish came out wrong and without hesitation she apologized got the correct meal and then took the meal off the bill. Excellent service.

We had great time with my friend. Food was super delicious and we got massive portions 😀. Staff were very kind and funny. Thanks for the great experience.

We went to Zizzi at the Corn Exchange in Manchester yesterday with our little boy (2.5years) and although the food was lovely, it was the male member of staff who took the time to engage with my little boy that made the visit. Our little boy was wandering around (it was very quiet, only two tables as well as us) and the member of staff took the time to sit on the floor with my little boy and made him a paper plane. Later on, my little boy went in search of this man and he then gave him the 'zizzi' stamp and some napkins so my little boy could stamp it. It can be daunting going out to eat with a 2 year old and this was such a lovely visit. Thanks!

Had a good meal by myself, beef short rib with extra veg and a spicy rum piccante (both very nice, meat fell off the bone so easy). Was quiet in the early afternoon so no problems with friendly timely service. Also had option to pay from phone using table number

Waitress on our section was really lovely, she was friendly and attentive. The food we had was good too.The restaurant was relatively quiet yet The food took a really long time to get to us.. we had a garlic bread with mozzarella to start, which took about 35mins to arrive to our table. Our main course then took a further 45mins to an hour to arrive - we were starving. The waitress did get our drinks taken off the bill (4x soft drinks) as way of compensation

I have never rated a restaurant this bad. If there’s a zero star, I’d give it with no hesitation. We walked and waited to be seated. What annoyed me the most is the fact that the staff were looking at us but never approached us. Then after 20 minutes of seeing us and ignoring us, they said we can’t have you in a very cold and ingenue manner. This is my last time to come. If they were polite, even with the fact that I didn’t book, I’d be ok. But they weren’t welcoming and weren’t friendly.

Visited on a Thursday afternoon, we were a table of 5. When we arrived there was only 3 or 4 other small tables in and plenty of staff. Drinks order was taken promptly, but took around 15 minutes to arrive. Food order was taken and it took just short of an hour to arrive. Plenty of staff standing around. Person who took our order could see we were still waiting but instead of updating us on any delay they chose to stand and have a laugh with their colleagues and the pizza oven station. I had to approach them and ask what was going on, no explanation was offered and no apology. Bad, bad , bad service!
