Brobbins Crispy Cod in Oldham

Very disappointed, only went in because of the best chippy award, won't be going in again, there chips are so pail and tasteless, my dog wouldn't even eat them.It should be called bobbins not brobinsOver priced, small portionsWhat a waste of my hard earned cash !!!

Totally Dissapointed with This Place... They Need to Update their Website cause it said it was Open When it Wasn't..Rang the phone number on the Website and Nobody Answered.

The only thing that let's this place down are the sausages. Gutted ! They are just not as good as in other chippies in the failsworth area.

Chips where dried up and couldn't be eaten, the food is usually outstanding but the past two weeks it's dramatically gone down hill in quality.

Fish and chips are amazing and excellent value. Always a welcome from the staff. Very pleasant all round

Sadly this chip shop is going downhill and the quality of the food is getting lower.Over the last six months the quality has dropped drastically The fish always seems greasy because it's never drained properly (but it is still the best cut of fresh fish anywhere in the area) and the peas are just not cooked properly at all they're not mushy as they should be they're like bullets.Also far too many staff in this chip shop and not enough serving.The chips nowadays are quite pale and soggy due again to being rushed and not cooked properly.(I understand that this can be due to the quality of the potatoes at this time of year)Since joining Uber eats prices have gone up drastically, are we paying for the overstaffing as well?This still is one of the best chip shops around but nowhere near as good as it used to be due to their greed.Hence my review has dropped from five stars to three come on Brobbins you can do better than this.

Food was poor however when we unpacked the fish and chips they were all stuck together so it really was a disappointing experience as it looked like I had scrapped the food from a bin..I suggest the fish is wrapped separately as not to adhere to chips and paper. Ended up putting in the bin..£ down the drain. Won't be going back..sorry. only went as had amazing reviews

Utterly superb fish and the chips are top notch as well. My second visit today. I can't come too often as I live in Sheffield but I always visit when I'm in Manchester on business.

Quality chippy discovered recently.Beautifully fried fish and tasty chips served with lovely gravy or curry.Never bother with pies so unsure but they all taste similar don't they holland pies?Highly recommended.

Excellent fish and chips from this great English chippy and at a fair price too. Would definitely recommend.
