Desi Sweets & Treats in Oldham

The BEST rainbow cake!! everything from here is amazing especially the milkshakes, highly recommend!

Called and tried to go into the shop a couple of times but it appears to be closed, permanently it looks like. Opening times here and on the door say it should be open at mid day but it's closed and looks like it has been for a while.

Excellent cakes very nice sponge and the owner is very helpful and always delivers on time . I come all the way from Rochdale to buy cakes here and they are enjoyed by everyone..Highly recommended..you won't be disappointed

We got a cake for my sisters birthday to feed upto 2 dozen people and I must admit, it was one of the best cakes I’ve ever had!The texture was, as Mary Berry says, moist and decadent! Which is probably very difficult to do with a cake as large as the one we had!The cream and icing just had the right amount of sweetness too, which I really enjoyed as I don’t have that much of a sweet tooth. Also, none of the kids were hyperactive post cake-um so that was a bonus. The customer service, speed and efficiency of placing an order makes Desi Cakes a very pleasant company to deal with as well. We went all the way from Liverpool to Oldham for our cake. And this definitely was a worthwhile trip!!Very highly recommend!! 🙋🏽‍♂️👍🏽🍰🍰🍰🍰🍰🍰🍰

Absolutely disgusting customer service, the owner is a compulsive liar and has no sense of care for his customers. I ordered a cake for a wedding function and two days before the wedding I went to pay and was told I had to pay more then agreed. He got out a written receipt and had altered the price which did not match the receipt he had given me a couple days earlier. He continued to argue with me about the price of the cake and gave me an option to either pay or go elsewhere. Never been so disgusted in my life to witness such greed in a local shop. It's disgraceful and the owner needs up skilling on his manners and customer services.

Disgusting. Absolutely disgusting. I've seen alot of bad dessert places but this really takes the cake (no pun intended). The owner is an absolute uncaring dithering brute. He has no concept of customer service. He lies about prices then gives you an ultimatum a few days before the event is due. I'd strongly recommend you steer clear of this theif's establishment.

Shameful. I cant even put into words how conniving this owner is. He lies about prices without a shred of professionalism or integrity. He is the worst owner i have come across. Because of his greed and fraud a whole family function was ruined. If you want good service for good prices and an honest owner go elsewhere.

I ordered falooda and chocolate moose cake for iftar in Ramadan I have to say they were awesome since the day I have met shabroz and his Desi staff they always try to make my order top notch I've never had a single thing to complain about thank you soo much Desi Sweets keep up the good work

NOT RECOMMENDED!!!Extremely poor customer handling. I ordered a cake yesterday and i was asked to collect it in 2 hours, when i went there a simple cream cake was waiting for me although i ordered a different cake. I was told 2 hours were not enough to make it. Thats joke i paid in full in advance, when i argued i was told you can have refund and leave. He wasnt even apologising. Too rude and too unprofessional. These business owners need some basic training on how to deal with customers and how not to make commitments you cant full fill although thats sounds common sense but looks like they are lacking even that basic sense of responsibility. NOT RECOMMENDED

I ordered a birthday cake for my son, I think the staff are brilliant, very polite and courteous. They listened to exactly what I wanted and my son was very happy with his birthday cake! It looked and tasted amazing!! Thanks guys :)
