Just ate here for the second time in many years and their food is the best I've ever had with no exaggeration! The Irish curry and rag pudding are amazing 🤤 the girls behind the counter are really friendly with great sense of humour,will always return when in the area.

Please can all our customers accept our apologies for over the last few weeks for any chip issues you may have encountered, potato’s have seasons and unfortunately July / August are mixed bags which is out of our control, the mixed potatoes all fry differently. We now have the new season potatoes in stock to provide the quality of chips we are all used to from the Frydays team

Just had Fish and Chips for my lunch, worst I've ever had! Chips were undercooked and soggy, the Fish was burnt on the top, soggy underneath & tasted disgusting like the Oil they were frying it in was months old.

Overpriced ,smaller portions , quality is variable , chips have been undercooked or raw on a few occasions. Will not be going again, they have had too many chances

Went before lockdown, chips weren't cooked all the way through and ordered what was supposed to be a beef burger £3.00, got it home and it looked and tasted as though it had been microwaved and was literally as flat as a pancake like a bus had run over it. Expensive chippy quality not like it used to be.

Horrible. Went there recently and the chips weren't properly cooked! Almost burnt on the outside and raw on the inside. Definitely won't be going back and I'd advise anyone to take the extra 10 minutes and go to a different chippy 🤢🤮

Rated Frydays two years ago as was a great place then, however the last few times I've been and got home with my chips they've been raw! I phoned up to tell them and was asked to bring them back, I'm not going to spend another hour going there and back for two bags of chips! I would have thought that a chippy of Frydays long standing and popularity would know how to cook the perfect chip!!

Please don’t go off the last review! I’ve been eating there for the last 20 years and I have never been ill or disappointed with anything in this chip shop! I’ve eaten every pie including the scotch pies and have been perfectly satisfied with the food and the service! Some people just love a platform.
