Very disappointed!Four of us had a club sandwich each and fries. The fries were the skinny frozen type and a small portion was £3.50 each. The club sandwich was bland and tasteless and the chicken was tough and over cooked and chewy. No one one came to us at any point during the meal to ask if everything was ok with the meal .Even though not so busy we had to ask for the table to be cleared after waiting 15 mins as we were contemplating having cake as we were still hungry. We told the lady that cleared the table that the sandwiches weren’t great and this was very apparent at the amount of food left on the plate, mainly the dry chicken. The lady said she would inform the kitchen but no one came back to speak to us .I would have expected the manager to come over to us and at least take some feedback from us .Needless to say we decided not to spend any more money and left without having cakes.I would say the food was awful and very overpriced for the poor quality and quantity we received and would not recommend.

Went for breakfast on Sunday morning. Got quite busy, but the service was quick and friendly. There is reasonable space between tabless for social distancing. Food was well presented, and the service was friendly. There is a good breakfast selection, and portion size is fine. It's not cheap, but as somewhere for a relaxing treat, it's good.

Had lunch today , overwhelming smell of fish & chips not very appealing. Had hot steak sandwich which was OK nothing special for ÂŁ9.50 , a portion of skinny fries costing ÂŁ3.50 and I got 13 fries - obviously frozen and not very warm tbh - OVERPRICED.A single soda water cost ÂŁ2.60 and that is the cheapest drink they do ! And ÂŁ4.25 for a hot chocolate- seriously!Staff very polite. All in all will not recommend and will not return vastly overpriced for what you get! !

The quality of the food is good and this is reflected in the prices. Machine made coffees are overpriced.

Visited today was seated and uncomfortable as felt people were staring at our table. Realised the specials board was on the board behind the table. Maybe remove this table as people were actually coming up to the table to read the board. We had steak sandwiches with very little steak for ÂŁ9.50

Went here for afternoon tea with my partner, it was a Christmas gift from my son. I’ve never had afternoon tea before so wasn’t sure what to expect, I have to say I was very pleased. Loads of selection and the food was amazing, the beef in the Yorkshire pudding was without a doubt the best beef I’ve ever tasted!Definitely recommended I will do it again

The food is ok not as good as when it first opened though, the decor and seating are very nice and comfortable menu varied enough to cater for most.

Celebrated my father’s wake in the private dining room and were looked after so well by Daryl, nothing was a problem at all. Food was lovely choice suited everyone in our party, nice selection of drinks too 🍹 also could play a video which made the day perfect, we were not rushed at all. Lovely place to celebrate
