Oldham Star Kebab and Pizza House in Oldham

I tried this place for the first time today the best kebab I have ever had .defiantly will be going back again. highly recommend it.

Very nice Kobeda with good portions , decent price and really friendly people

Best in the business especially for the Kobeda kebab. The food is always fresh tried the chicken burgers, donner, pizzas, chicken strips, chicken donner including the salad etc. There is so much variety makes it difficult to chose because its all very tasty. The owner looks after the customers & the staff are very polite. I highly recommend to try this place its been open for many years a well established business. Thanks again!

They have got one of the best doner I have eaten in Manchester but I strongly feel the team I met when I visited should learn to communicate properly and be patient with their customers. Good food though.

3rd time I've visited this shop and the food was good again. The shop was very busy at the time I called, a member of staff took a little time out to ask how my day had been, which I thought was nice. A nice place.

Very conflicted with the food here. When it's good it is god tier takeaway but on occasion the food can be dry and tasteless. I always order the chicken donner meal and the difference from week to week can be chalk and cheese however the last few times have been consistently good. Good selection of drinks. They also claim to offer a delivery service in the window but don't if you enquire about it.

For a Kebab Shop (& pizzas), it's always very clean and the staff are always very friendly, helpful and cater for your needs (in regards to what they sell and how they sell it).It's pretty much always popular, with plenty of custom.The only sad thing is they halted delivery due to the Covid Pandemic and haven't resumed it since. I suppose with what I've said above, they have a good custom base, it's a good clean Kebab Shop with a good reputation, so don't need to deliver?That's the only reason I gave four stars and not five. Other than that,,,, great Kebab Shop 😁

Absolutely fantastic food! A good selection of kebabs, pizzas and burgers. I would definitely recommend the chicken burger meal. If you get a double chicken burger, ask for one spicy. You'll get chips and a drink with it for under £6 . Everything seems to be cooked from fresh. If you're short on cash and hungry, would also recommend getting a chip naan, with red salt and mayo. Staff are incredibly friendly. You can either take away, get a delivery or eat in.

What can I say about this place the Chicken Shawarma is definitely the best in the Oldham/Manchester area without a doubt also the Kobedas are the best I've ever tasted(no greasy back taste) the Lamb is always nice and soft not chewy like most places there's too much to mention as real effort is made to prepare all menu items to a high standard I'll say the Salad is always fresh and I'll just add how nice the Lamb Doner is as well as the Chicken Burgers all the food is made to order so really is as fresh as you get which I really do appreciate. All the staff are friendly and go above and beyond whilst preparing your food so you get the highest quality that can be achieved the prices are also very reasonable for the quality of food they serve also they take hygiene very serious as the place is always spotless. If you've not been to Oldham Star give it a try you will not be disappointed and you will be kicking yourself for not trying it sooner. You could argue this is the best takeaway in Manchester which I think it is. Cheers guys
