Simla Inn Tandoori Restaurant in Oldham

Had a superb curry here last night, it certainly rivals another (more expensive) Indian restaurant in the area! I'm surprised this place isn't packed out tbh. A Royton gem, definitely worthy of a 5 ⭐ rating

Ordered a takeaway tonight and this is the chicken that was in our chicken korma which despite showing the manager and chef, apparently isn’t raw and looks fine. They would not refund our meal. Definitely avoid this place, trading standards are also involved.

Nice food ' friendly staff ' just need to light up the josh sticks and crank up the music . And get some practical condament dishes ' dump the posh ones . . .

Quick to take your payment on card only ( just eat ) but not happy if you don’t leave a good review Truth is I ordered a takeaway the food was average cold and delivery was late I will not use this place again full stop

Having used these frequently since they joined Just Eat, we used them for a family boxing day meal. Called ahead so as to be able to collect the meal, was just over £116.00. Nothing was forgotten, it was an excellent and easy transition.Got it home, everyone really liked it. Thank you guys.

I've eaten here on numerous occasions with friends and family. Service is always prompt, food is tasty and fresh and various drinks are available from the bar. Thanks.

We have just had a takeaway meal from here, which we have had before. It must be the worst meal we have had for a long time. Poppadoms were OK but not a lot you can do wrong with them, mango chutney was very watery with no actually pieces of mango in it. Onion bhaji were hard and chewey. Sheek kebab the same! Garlic naan hard and chewy Lamb Jalfrezi, my OH couldn't eat and believe me he is not fussy.. my chicken takeaway balti not bad but not much taste to it. All in all very disappointed as was not cheap 😒

Not the best, seems to have downhill. Waiters not particularly attentive. Food mixed, 1 dish excellent, 1 dish lacking any sort of flavour. Under the impression they took Amex but I don't think they wanted to stump the fee.EDIT: Contacted Amex and it seems they do take the card. Really naughty business practice and they will be reported to trading standards.

Forgot to take a photo of my food like a wally - but as long as this place has been open, the food has been consistently outstanding. There are some good Indian restaurants in Manchester but this is my favourite and I’ve been coming for the last 15 years or so.Staff are always friendly, the five for £12 makes the value even better.
