Summit Inn in Oldham

Went for a business lunch with a colleague service and food excellent I had the gammon and it was yummy

Food is good but the service is really bad. After ordering drinks on the app we ended up having to go to the bar to get them as no one sorted our order. Waiting staff all just stood around talking instead helping customers as well as one of them swearing loudly while kids where in the restaurant.

Visited on Saturday night for a family gathering of 9. 3 of us ordered the steak fondue challenge and they came out perfect! The meat was cooked to the exact way asked and it was tender and delicious. A few others in our party had philly cheese steaks and they were great too. Holly our waitress was polite and friendly and made us feel welcome. Compliments to the chef and team that was on that night as it was busy but they handled it like pros

Ordered Hunters Chicken skillet. Came with chips and peas. When it arrived I could barely see the onion and it certainly wasn't sizzling. The chicken was 2 tiny pieces and the bacon and sauce were quite dry. The chips were cold and the peas were undercooked and cold. Sent it back. Would of hoped-for for complete new dish but the chicken was same but dry around edges where reheated. and peas were like water. The chips were just cooked so hot.Sadly not one of the best sizzler pubs we have been to.

Great atmosphere and great food during football games. Thursday quiz nights are also great, I'm there every week. The manager ensured our food was perfect and he looked after us.

Good pub This guy called Nick served us, he was good. The beer tasted good and the food also tasted good. I enjoyed myself very much, we had a good night

Great family friendly pub, lovely food, the staff are friendly and accommodating, especially Kat who went above and beyond. Would highly recommend, especially for their quiz nights on a Thursday and Sunday.

The Summit is a great venue, with friendly staff and lots of good food and drink deals. Inside there are gambling machines, a pool table and a dartboard.There is a smartphone quiz every Thursday and Sunday at the venue that is free to play and lots of fun. It's bogof on burgers on Thursday and meal deals are available on Sundays

Went tonight for a meal that was booked over a month ago. The man that welcomed us was rude from the start. We were told there was an hour wait on the food. Take it or leave it. Well we left it and went to the Halfway House who accomodated us and we had an excellent meal. So effectively the summit guy did us a favour. Very bad customer service 👎

Popped in just before 9 o'clock for a quick bite but was told the kitchen was shutting in a minute or 2 so no food available oh well had a drink and a chat in pleasant surroundings, didn't seem that busy for a Friday night but as its not my local I couldn't say why , still a nice clean pub with good service 😉 note to self arrive earlier next time 😀
