I am not a big fan of pub food but I enjoyed the food at The King Arms very much. I ordered breaded squid for starter followed by braised steak with mashed and peas, I enjoyed every mouthful of them. I will definitely go back there. Good value for money, yummy food and excellent services.

Visited 27th May 2022. Myself & my husband had a 2 course meal from the Light Lunch menu.We got there for 12pm as that’s when it opens, there is ample parking spaces & we got seated straight away in the restaurant area. Waiting on staff were very nice & professional. For our starters, I had Calamari which was a large portion for a starter, it was tasty although the batter would have been even nicer if it was of a thinner coating on the Calamari. My husband had the Pate, which again was a large portion for a starter, a nice pot of Pate, 3 slices of toast (still warm), 3 portions of butter & a small side salad on the same plate. My husband did enjoy his starter but he says he has had better. We score 4/5 for both starters. We both had the same main course which was Braised steak with Mash, Peas & Gravy. This was excellent !!! A big portion of everything. The meat was extremely tender, delicate & fell apart when we touched it with our fork & tasted beautiful. The mash was PROPER mash, utterly delicious, tasty peas & the gravy was dark, rich & absolutely lovely. We score 5/5 for the main meal. For both meals & drinks (1 Latte & 1 ice water) it came to £25 which is a great price especially for the amount of food we got.All in all we were greeted, seated, served & exited in just under 1 hour which was perfect for us.When we parked up to go in, there wasn’t any customer vehicles at all, when we left just under an hour later, the car park was full !! Go dead on 12pm to get a table & they do like it when customers book too as it does get busy.We will definitely go again & recommend the King’s Arms pub/restaurant.

Well, I usually get my usual sweet chilli chicken on a granary bun with salad as I know its gorgeous. However I tried something new. Braised steak with red wine onion gravy with mash and peas. Oh my it was amazing. The steak literally melted. No need to cut it. It was gorgeous. Deffo be having it again. And its always a nice place to go for atmosphere and cleanliness etc

Absolutely brilliant tonight, phoned up about 4pm and managed to get a table for 7:30pm so that was a bonus. The staff on arrival and throughout the evening were very polite and helpful. The food......well.....that was amazing, I had the T-bone steak and other half had ribeye, both cooked to perfection of how we asked for it, as you can see from the picture perfect medium rare on the T-bone, the ribeye had soo much flavour to it too, the thick cut chips were really nice and properly cooked, thick cut chips in some places end up being a little undercooked in the middle....not here, 100% perfect throughout and tasty, I'd also advise on getting the peppercorn sauce too as that was the best I've ever had.For pudding we had sticky toffe pudding with toffee sauce and custard, again soo tasty and delicious, definitely recommended if you can fit it in after a 20oz T-bone 😁Overall this experience at the King's Arms was 10/10 and would 100% recommend to anyone.A big thumbs up 👍....well done Kings Arms 😁

Late Sunday lunch booked for 18-00 today. After a few really awful meals around Saddleworth finally somewhere where the chef knows how to cook. Roast beef Sunday lunch bottle of house red. House red was exceptional food was absolutely gorgeous. Dodger was waiting at home for his treat but the food was that nice I didn’t save him any. Sorry boy. He got some ham from the fridge so he’s happy. I can not recommend the food here enough. Sunday 08/08/21. Another fantastic meal from the kings. Thanks guys.
