The food is beautiful. Service very good , great value for money.Big disappointment is you come out smelling of food... with it having open kitchen. My advice would be don't go in anything dry clean only. And plenty of perfume if your going out for drink later ... sorry guys π

Ive had Sunday roasts all around the UK and across various parts of the world and I can honestly say this is probably one of the best I have ever had the pleasure of demolishing!Everything was cooked to perfection, the meat was juicy and well seasoned, the roasties were crunchy on the outside and fluffy on the inside and again the seasoning was perfect. The carrots, parsnips, green beans, broccolini were all amazing too. The other champions of this dish were the creamy mash, perfect yorkshire pudding, stuffing and of course the gravy!I would honestly consider flying all the way back from Australia where I live on a weekly basis just for this dinner! Not only that the staff were all lovely and chef James very clearly cares about the food he is plating up and its easy to see why this place is voted into the top 10 roasts in the country.Oh and lastly theres a vegetarian option that has the same love and skill poured into it as the meat based dishes. The nut roast was delicious.Well done guys keep it up!

We were in Delph in the evening and were looking for somewhere to eat. There are a handful of pubs in the main Street, but this is a small village so there isn't too much of anything else.Although there was no menu posted outside, we asked staff if we could see one, and they obliged. We liked what we saw, so we asked for a table. Although the menu isn't particularly extensive, this works in The Bank's favour. To often, placed order a huge menu, all of which turns out to be very average. This was the exact opposite. Everything sounded really appealing, and we decided to go for a selection of small plates. Think starters, but larger portions without being main meals.Everything we had was fantastic and full of flavour. It all had a really great, fresh, feeling and was full of flavour. The chef had really worked hard to make sure they got every drop of flavour out of every single dish.Prices are very reasonable, for a bar of this kind in a nice village, and we had absolutely no regrets at staying instead of walking on. Staff were really friendly and very efficient, and it was a very nice, informal experience.Next time we're in Delph, it will be our first stop for something to eat and drink. I highly recommend The Bank for great food and great service, or even just to call in for a drink in nice surroundings.

The cocktails and food are fab. The only reason it's not got 5 stars is that my eyes watered a lot whilst we were there, which is due to the building being listed so the venting isn't enough to get rid of the cooking smoke. It won't put me off though, I'll be back π

What a hidden little gem that somehow captures you the second you walk in. The aroma of things to come greets you as you enter the old bank building, with lofted ceilings, aged oak, and the mix of modernity with steel and glass. Very comfortable and homely. The kitchen and bar area are completely open to view and the staff are very accommodating and friendly. The food was bar non, the best I've tasted in saddleworth. Offering new sensations like the "Madras honey fries" and "Torched sea bass on a Thai green curry base", this little sensation is a must if you like to spoil your taste buds. The drinks menu is just as good, offering all usual bar fare plus some very well made cocktails. Admittedly I sampled quite a few. π.A total thumbs up to the palate cleanser of fruit salad chews, instead of the boring usual chocolate mints. Very cool move.Overall a huge thumbs up.

First time visiting - dined outside (though this is only temporary till restrictions lift). Easy to order to table & pay using the app. Staff were friendly and food was absolutely delicious (highly recommend the madras & honey fries). Definitely planning a return visit when we can eat inside again!
