The Ho Ho Chinese Restaurant in Oldham

I ordered crispy beef and egg fried rice for take away.There was little to no egg in the egg fried rice and the shredded beef was good but basic and not fresh. A simple addition of a fresh spring onion in each dish would just complete the dishes. There was nothing like this.This place is a restaurant, where as I've been to solely 'take aways' that care more than this effort I received.No passion in the making of this order and so no passion for eating it either 👎🏻

Regular customers at the HoHo for years even though it is very expensive. Just ordered a meal for three people for £35. The delivery guy was lovely…they always are but unfortunately found a black hair in my Sons meal. Obviously he lost his appetite then and didn’t want to eat it. I understand it happens but phoned immediately to see what could be done. I assumed we’d receive a quick apology and the offer of a replacement meal…we live minutes away. How wrong I was.l! The manager Ka answered and started arguing with me that it was impossible the hair could have come from the restaurant. I explained that it happens and I hadn’t phoned for an argument and had just expected him to be slightly apologetic since it had ruined someone’s meal. He asked what did I expect him to do so I suggested a credit maybe for if we ordered again. He said ok £5. I told him I thought his customer service skills were shocking and I’ll just leave a review instead and he said ok! It’s not the first time I’ve found his attitude appalling. Hohos is usually lovely but the managers rude and arrogant attitude let’s it down. I’ve left this review because of the way I was spoken to and not because of the hair!

Just ordered a 55 pound takeaway from hoho it took an hour to be delivered , we waited in excitement table laid in eager anticipation of the delicious food on its way to us...what a disappointment!! I have never ever eaten worse food every dish was absolutely terrible , in fact my son is convinced the ribs were off and there was no chicken in the salt and pepper chicken ! Just batter . I don't think I have ever had the misfortune of having to physically spit out my food before.We put it all into a bin liner and out to the dustbin. This is a genuine review and the four of are now heading out to get kebabs we are starving!!!If I could give zero stars I would

Food was excellent. Staff very good. A bit on the expensive side though. Went as a birthday treat. Won't be a regular visitor.

Staff very good food brilliant no complaints about the bill. It was a good night had by all. We would eat there again.

Really nice enjoyed the food nice clean place well presented staff nice and efficient friendly and food come quick and hot. Prices are abit steep not the cheapest place for food and drinks easy parking

Prompt efficient friendly service from our waitress. The gentleman at the bar could have been a little more welcoming perhaps, as he was a little bit miserable when we arrived. The food was simply fantastic though, with plenty of it. We will definitely be going again 😊👍

Really special inside, but it's the food that counts and I'm afraid it disappointed. Our soup and crispy duck banquet starters were excellent. However the mains were not up to standard, small portions, bland and regarding the chicken sweet and sour, overcooked, hard batter and precious little chicken. Expected far better quality for the steep price.

Best Chinese around! (Will set you back a little more tho!)We usually have take out from here which is lovely. They don't make you wait long either.Loads of staff to be on hand to help and order.I would highly recommend it.
