Quiet and cozy place with great service. Family friendly and really well priced.Along with a good selection of café food they have pies, cakes and freshly made sandwiches to take away. Breakfast here is really popular with friendly staff and customers.

Went in and bought a cheese and bean toastie. Burnt on one side hardly cooked on the other. Staff clearly to busy talk to regulars to even acknowledge non regulars. Toast was that tough just binned it. Shame I couldn’t upload the pictures

Food was so nice and the staff were really helpful and friendly! It was really busy but the staff still made sure everyone was happy and service was really quick! Will definitely return again soon

Arrived with my little boy on a busy Sunday morning. The food was good and the service was amazing. Very considerate and very willing to help. Thank you.

Cheese & bacon on toast , untoasted toast , microscopic bit of cheese , utter rubbish. If you’re going to employ kids on a Sunday at least make sure they have an idea of what customers expect. Never again

I have been here fairly frequently over the last 12 months. I've always found the staff to be very pleasant, and the food is always excellent. I will no doubt visit again in the future, and highly recommend the place.

Never had a bad breakfast from here and I've been plenty of times. .. Only issue is sometimes if they're busy you'll have to wait but then it is a small place so patience is a virtue.

I like to go out for breakfast on a Sunday - Wherever I am in the country.Went to The Village tea Rooms this morning to get a breakfast for me, my wife and son. Got there at 8.35am - it opens at 8:30am. Greeted with a young girl putting dividers up for the outside seating area and lifting all the chairs off the tables inside. She asked if she could help us. My son said 'Yes, we're here for breakfast' - The woman inside said, 'Can you give me 5 minutes.' We sat outside the Library until 8:45 and could see from where we were sat that they were nowhere near ready even 15 minutes after the opening time! If you have a cafe, and you advertise the opening time as 8:30 - you should be ready at 8:30am. Still not ready at 8:45 - chairs still on the tables inside - so we left. Can't comment on the food because we couldn't wait any longer to sample it!
