This is a lovely place with great food and a nice outside seating area. They are dog friendly. They have second hand books available for a donation, with the money going to charity

Went through the village the other day and saw this cafe for the first time, lovely little cakes, they are handmade and definitely worth the price, will be definitely visiting with my kids next time.

This was such a huge disappointment. Got ripped off!I love the cakes and come frequently to this place to get them but this was unacceptable.My partner and I had a really rough week and decided to treat ourselves to some cake. We do live quite far away but it was worth it! A half an hour drive to get some delicious goodness. We came into the shop and ordered 4 takeaway cakes. They had issues with their card machines as usual so I just gave the cashier £14 by cash. Patiently waited for the cakes, got a cake box which was secured with a string. Lady said ,“that’s your cake”. I thanked her and we left. All hyped and excited to finally get the reward we have been waiting for. Got home after a long drive, cut the string securing the cake box, and opened it to find that out of 4 cakes there is only ONE.So I paid for 4 but got only one. If the lady which we ordered the cakes from knew what she is handing over, why didn’t she tell us that there is more ? Why weren’t we stopped when we started heading out? It’s not like we were running. Also, I have not been given a receipt, what business runs like this? Really gutted.I cannot go for another 1 h drive to go back to the shop. And from this experience I am not too sure how I feel about coming back to be honest.

Cake AND books, what's not to love. Popped in to have a look, left with a takeout of the most beautiful and delicious cakes ever in a fabulous box, honestly it was the best little package. So today we're going back to sit and enjoy the epic hot chocolate and if course more cake!

Amazing range of all kinds of cakes, brownies and blondies that taste superb. Great range of drinks as well, including a while variety of milkshakes. Well presented and lovely outdoor seating options.

Drove past this place on our way to a bnb, stopped to pop in and so glad we did! 4 cakes for £12, and omg they are both amazing and huge 😁 Highly recommended, tastes so good, lovely helpful service too!

The Cake Kitchen was lovely and the lady who served us was brilliant. The choices change each day and there were gluten free options as well :)

Lovely cake options. Big portions. Limited lunch options but the sandwiches we had were very nice. They had run out of ice on one of the hottest days of the year so far which was a shame as out cold drinks were rather warm. Friendly staff, clean and tidy interior and lovely patio/front area for eating outside. Reasonably priced, certainly for the amount of cake!!!
