We were there for our friends wedding, the rooms were really nice worth the money the food on the other hand was not as advertised. At the wedding the staff were very young and inexperienced in table service and customer service with a few of them having a bad attitude when asking why other tables had been served but not ours. The breakfast "table service" cost £16 per head and was nothing but a self-serve buffet with us waiting for multiple items for over 15 minutes. Overall a great day/night only let down by the venue I would think twice when booking this venue.

We attended a wedding reception in the function room/bar. It was a great venue but the food wasn't the best. Plenty of it, but very limited. No idea about the rooms, but if they're as good as the function room they'll be very good.

Lovely venue and location however the food was overpriced and below par. My mother in law fought with her sirloin steak to get through the grizzle and stringy bits the chips were under cooked and very bland. For £31.50 for a sirloin I would expect more! Pudding was not worth the price £8/9 And a class of Prosecco was £9!!!

We have been using the White Hart for the last 15 years although less over the last couple of years so it appeared a good choice for a family meal to celebrate my wife's birthday. The food was on the whole very average but one plate was inedible, my son ordered a rib eye from the grill, even with a serrated steak knife it was not possible to cut into. Although they agreed to not charge for this one course there was no offer of an alternative or and other gesture such a complimentary drink which as he was a drinking small coke would not effect their margins. A shame really. The staff are polite and do try, maybe a new chef would help!

Was not to sure because it was rump for Sunday lunch and not sirloin of beef which I love. We had the starters which I wouldn't recommend. Then the Sunday roast, and I have to say it's one of the very best I've had in years. The roast potatoes were better than my own. The gravy was genuinely from the beef. Quite expensive but well worth it. Would rather pay extra and they get it right.

Absolutely FANTASTIC! Beautiful hotel up on Moors. Staff really could not been more... Food, amazing! Yes, yes, yes! Great value! Will be staying again, hopefully when we can go for a walk! (Weather was appalling)

I have just had lunch today 23/02/2022 at the Whiteheart and I was very disappointed with the service and the food. It took over an hour to be served, the excuse was that because we didn't have any starter, that was the reason it took a while to arrive. The potions sizes were very small and well over priced, plus the chips were frozen chips not twice cooked ones. Overall not what I was expecting, would not recommend to my friends.

New Years Eve 31.12.21. Great night, great food and great company.Had their NYE package; meal, entertainment, drinks for £135 and was impressed with it all from start to finish.Special mention to kitchen and service staff. I thought the food was great, Beef Wellington was fantastic by the way. Portion sizes just perfect given it was 4 courses.Service staff worked tirelessly from start to finish collecting drinks, cleaning tables. To all at The White Hart “thank you”. We had a really good evening.

I didn't like having to go outside and round to the front door to get the key for our room . If I hadn't been staying overnight it wouldn't have mattered because I would have been going to my car anyway but getting wet through and then having to go to the room like that was not my idea of fun.Having said that the staff were amazing except one who's job title shall be nameless. The waiting staff that were all young people were brilliant. The meal at the wedding reception was lovely and again the young staff members were amazing and very polite and on the ball. It was a lovely place, our room was very comfortable and had a lovely view from the window which was at at the front of the Inn. The following morning again the young ladies that were front of house putting the buffet breakfast out were so polite and bright and breezy and very attentive. The reception staff were very helpful too.

Nice Hotel staff very nice and thefood was good. Our room No 1 wasn't so good.Door to to the toilet the lock broken there was alsoa very nasty smell of sewerage. Room was cold and drafty we had water coming in around thewindow. I must stress that theday we arrived was very windy and cold with very heavy rain. The room itself was clean and tidy plenty of wardrobe and drawers.
