Stayed at Premier Inn next door. Staff in Beefeater were great and our food was excellent - half chicken, calamari, cheesy mushrooms and gammon. The ladies just wanted to make sure we had a good meal that we enjoyed. We ate in the bar. Thankyou All.

We arrived last moment after a long day without a booking and taking our chances.. thankfully the staff were extremely helpful and could seat our party of ten, everyone enjoyed their meal and the drinks that followed, a nice atmosphere with friendly atmosphere and locals.

Had the Lamb chops, very nice 😋 just it says mini roast potatoes on the menu and they were more like smashed boiled new potatoes but caramelised onion flavour was lovely

Food was ok but things missing I ordered the double crunch burger that comes with skinny fries, which I was then asked do I want chips or skinny fries with I said fries and got chips and no bacon or bbq sauce on the burger. We ordered halloumi fries that were over cooked so when the dried herbs were added at the end they just fell off. We ordered the bottomless soft drinks then got charged for refills and the waitress entered the wrong voucher code so no discount was taken, after a bit of confusion on their side the issue sas corrected. The restaurant wasn't busy but we had to wait a few minutes when we arrived before anyone acknowledged us and seeing as we were sat right behind the tills the service was terrible two other tables also complained out of the six or seven tables that were occupied

Visited for my birthday meal on Tuesday evening, very slow service took around 25mins to get drinks never mind our food order taken. Had to actively seek staff for ordering and paying the bill

It's a great big pub very nice inside and very clean but the food we was waiting over 45 minutes and then they got the orders wrong so we order the fish and chips and burger and chips the fish and burger was great but the chips was very cold. The next morning we went in for breakfast and it was cold

I don't want to be too harsh as each meal is subjective, but the one I've just had was horrid. Was part of the Christmas menu, a festive chicken burger... The chicken was overcooked hard to even cut through useing a knife and fork! And the chips where not cooked. Again subjective but the bacon was not cooked, I would expect crispy on a burger?

Food was delish and to top it management gave a free bottle of prosecco as it was our anniversary on Christmas Eve.... You don't get that in many restaurants! Big surprise.Staff were super friendly and efficient with a happy smile, makes a huge difference. Social distancing not 100% covered, hence my 4 stars. At the end of the day, look after yourself and don't expect others to take that responsibility.

A lovely place, well set out with lots of room. Food was nice served with a nice break between courses. Thought the wine choice per bottle could have been a bit cheaper though. Overall a nice experience but be prepared for a costly night.

This was a strange one, Food was good, as normal a lot missing due to availability.Service was good but only one guy served tables on his own unless he needed help then a girl appeared from somewhere. The starter was a shared dish, not sure that was what it said it was in full.Main courses, 1 sirloin was brilliant, 2nd one was very chewy and the 3rd a rib- eye was cooked again it was chewy. It sweets the costs compared to each other was amazing, choc chip sundae I think it was called. 2 biscuits on top of ice cream with a bit of decoration. Not worth the £6 cost. 2 waffle caramel desserts, waffles were frozen, no caramel sauce, nicely presented but couldn't eat it!Covid, putting unused cutlery back in draw after being on the table all meal. Maybe remove them when first sitting with someone. The first time I have never left a tip, service wasn't bad just the food and amount of staff willing to work whilst they were in the building.Need a lot of work including the cleaning of the restaurant to make this place as good as it used to be!
