We visited this fantastic little cafe on Tuesday 14th July, the food was brilliant as we're all the staff that work there ,all home made food tasty and a proper portion ,just my kind of place to eat and also dog friendly, we will definitely eat here again when we visit uppermill ,thanks to all the staff .

Wow. Just what we needed for a hangover. Super substantial food. Excellent choice and great prices. They definately dont skimp on the portions. Lovely staff too.

Honestly what a lovely experience. The staff are super friendly polite. And the menu is brilliant. The food was some of the best I’ve had in the area for dinner. 5 star all day long. Great choice of food and drinks and snacks. I would highly recommend this place.

Wow, After reading the Google reviews I thought I'd walked into the wrong cafe by mistake. As we walked in a lady in her late 60's behind the counter was on the telephone angrily raising her voice to the customer on the other end of the phone. There was a large group of people on the left hand side and a table for two with two chairs on the right hand side. As the new variant has been discovered we decided to take the table for two to give everyone space. I went to order at the counter said a friendly "hello" and the older phone lady barked in my face " You can't sit there only one person can sit there". I really didn't deserve to be shouted at and felt humiliated and upset. I thought Northerners were supposed to be friendly, not so. After all that is going on in the world at the moment I wish humans would have a bit of kindness. We went to the cafe down the road that had impeccable customer service and was a much nicer place to sit.

We decided to try this place at work. Can say I was very happy with my Tuna and Cheese Melt (Plenty of filling), came with a little side salad and sauces (not to mention the cutlery). Will definitely recommend and order again very soon!

Friendly and polite staff. Prices are very reasonable and food is very good. The only minus point is there are no toilets.
