Zaraks Grill Lounge in Oldham

Really delicious food, we've ordered different dishes and each one of us like what they've got, fish, chicken qnd meat. Lots of variety of choices and options. The waitresses were very kind and professional. They don't do tab water, you have to buy bottled water. Generally, I would highly recommend this for a delicious meal. Oh and they have dietary requirements for everything you need, including HALAL FOOD.It's only four stars because the chairs and decorations are a little bit worn out.To avoid disappointment, I would recommend calling in advance and making a reservation for certain times it gets really busy.

An amazing dining experience! From start to finish. A friendly receptionist on the phone who booked us in on a steady Saturday. We travelled around 40 miles to get there and it was worth the journey. Please note sat nav will take you on the main road so be on the lookout for the parking either before you turn in left. There is ample parking outside the premises and Europcar next door. It is a lovely restaurant with a relaxing ambiance. Open kitchen is a nice touch. Ample seating inside the restaurant. We were seated promptly and spoken to within minutes. Took the owners recommendation and it was fantastic. We ordered the Super Tender Beef Short Rib and Pan Seared Lamb Rump. I had the beef and I can honestly say it was probably the best beef I have had a steak house and I have travelled to a lot of places throughout the country! The beef was melting off the bone and flavour profile was to die for. The lamb was also sublime. A great dining experience, portions were right, price was good and wait time was good also. Would highly recommend to anyone. I almost forgot about the mocktail, the frozen moments…Brilliant! Great recommendation by the owner, thank you very much. Will be dining again!

I attended Zaraks Grill Lounge with my Mrs on the Sunday the 12th of June 2022 around 18:30.We were greeted by manager (could be owner) who asked if we had booked or not, he was very nice and got us seated immediately and brought of 2 menus, shortly after a lady came over to ask if we were ready to order (she was very polite) and answered some questions I posed about the food we would order.We ordered:1 x Garlic Chicken Bread1 x Cheese Pepper Fries1 x Sirloin Steak (10oz) Medium cooked with Chips (also with peppercorn sauce and cheese on the steak but these you have to pay for extra this)1 x Melted Cheesy Chicken3 x Bottled drinks (2 x J20 Apple Mango and Diet Coke)Total = 54.90Food took around 20-25 minutes but it was quiet at the time so I can’t comment on busy periods, I really like the way front of house of the restaurant is, there is like a selfie spot area if you into that kind of thing, Alhamdulilah the food was amazing honestly when I saw my steak, I was doubtful about the portion size after finishing it I was full also tasting it, this was one of the best steaks I have eaten, my Mrs Chicken steak was great as well shoe loved it, the garlic chick bread and cheese pepper fries were great as started also, it is tad expensive (but then again it is high end restaurant it is expected) but it is soooo worth it. I did also notice it was getting really busy by the time we left so must be a good place to eat.As we were leaving the manager (could be the owner) was conversating with us asking if the food was good or if we had any complaints, he was happy for me to take pictures of the establishment for social media, also would like give a shout out to the ladies on front they are doing an amazing job at Zaraks.I believe you can park in the front of the premises but be careful if you have a lowered car as there is steep decent when exiting the front of the business, you can also park Exchange Street after 6pm (as the near by businesses close around then), I parked on Gravel Walks to not get hassled.The downside I can think of music is explicit so if you go with family (children or elders) it is not nice environment to hear but I guess you could ask the manager to turn if off on site or change the music non explicit (I think he would be happy to honour this request). Another one (this is be being very picky sorry) is a little tad expensive on certain item such as drinks and charging extra for peppercorn sauce with the steak it should come with it BUT there is BIG BUT the steak is really amazing I would 100% recommend this place a visit I do hope to visit again with my friend’s next time.If you are after an amazing steak this place is 5 stars!

Excellent food really top tier but on pricey side. If you manage to get there earlier and grab a "zaracks grill board" it works out a lot cheaper.Excellent food 🍲

Service level from all staff especially Furqaan was superb and accommodating. Atmosphere was lovely and clean; reassuring that all food is halal and no alcohol served on premises. Ordered Zaraks Grill Platter which the food was very nice especially the sirloin cut and lamb chops. All food was cooked well and served hot. This meal had 2 adults stuffed. This was our first time and will definitely be back for more and try other food on the menu. Reasonably priced and food is of high quality. Happy to recommend to family and friends.

We really enjoyed the food and the service was spot on. We ate nachos for starters which was delicious. Followed by the Zaraks platter for 2. Which had a mixture of mains which was somthing I've never seen. I have to say it there was alot of the variety to choose from. It was cooked perfectly by Malik. Highly recommended to family and friends.

Very good food. Good size portion/good value for money. Everything was spot on including atmosphere. This was my first time here but won't be my last.

Best halal steak I ever had..very good and tasty.. big portion.. mushroom garlic sauce was tasty as well..customer service was good… highly recommended . The only problem is parking.

Such a pleasant evening from start to finish. Staff are polite and welcoming. Head chef is amazing! For such a fussy eater I cannot fault the food at all, Food was cooked to perfection😍 the atmosphere was great too. Could not recommend Zaraks enough.

The place is beautiful and staff are super friendly and the food is delicious. I love that you get a lot of food as well for the price. The waiters and waitresses were committed to great service and were very friendly. The atmosphere was awesome and I definitely liked the modern style of this place. We travelled 30+ miles to this restaurant and we will definitely be coming again.
