Banny's Fish & Chips in Pendle

Spot the difference in the 2 pictures, just been to the takeaway in Colne and ordered Indian fish & Chips, it looks great on the advert but in reality what you really get is Indian fish and NORMAL chips!!!So I took my portion back to the counter to question why they were nothing like the advert and I got told it’s because if you put the fish & chips together the fish goes soggy 🙄The manager came out from the back and decided to make my meal again, little did I know until I got home to eat it, but they had decided not to put any fish inside the batter. VERY DISAPPOINTING and childish!!!

Just had fish and chips from Banny's, it was disgusting . Fish was small , thin , greasy and over cooked. Chips were chewy and tasted like yesterday's warmed up . Always could guarantee that Banny's fish and chips were one of the best in the area but I won't be wasting my time or money going again. Would not and will not recommend to anyone. Worst fish and chips for many miles around. Don't bother going.

Always a great experience when we come here. Been coming since they opened and the consistency of the food is perfect. Tastes amazing everytime. I usually order the original fish and chips, but today I ordered the Indian fish and chips. The chillies have a bit of a kick. If you like spicy food, this is the one. Don't miss out! Amazing place to eat fish and chips, cooked perfectly. Fish was tasty and delicate, while the batter was just at the right texture of crispiness. Great environment and helpful staff.

Had the Indian Fish and Chips as I wanted to try it. Nothing wrong with it just personal choice but I prefer the traditional fish and chips which I have had here and enjoyed in the past. Still if I hadn't tried I wouldn't have known so my personal recommendation is go for the traditional they're really good here. The serving staff are really nice and very friendly. So would recommend.

High quality of food and service. Restaurant is always clean and staff are very quick to respond to your needs. Today we visited restaurant around 1 pm and it was very very busy. We were seated and our order taken few minutes later. Our order has been served several minutes later. As other customers finished with their meals tables were cleared and cleaned. It was very pleasant watching serving team work so well.Highly recommend to visit this place.

This is the best for top quality fish and chips. The homemade cheese and onion pie is also excellent.Reminds me of the original Harry Ramsden's in Yorkshire back in the 1960s. Beware, though, the portions are big.Staff are well trained and friendly. Love it.

Really tasty fish and chips, reasonably priced. Restaurant was clean, warm with friendly staff. Will definitely return for more.

First and foremost a fish & chip restaurant with takeaway counter. Well organised divided into two separate parts. When one half is getting full they start on filling the other side. Bright and airy. The decor is ships and sea birds. The service is quick enough. Food starts with Fish and chips, I had cheese and onion pie , enjoyed it though I usually have haddock. Photo is sardines I had in 2019.
