Good range of goods inside this Tardis-like building. Very friendly and cheerful staff. Free parking next to the store makes it very convenient. Not the cheapest, but good quality.

Booths cafe.Cooked breakfast.Nearly perfect! Excellent 1st floor cafe over the supermarket. Interesting and modern architecture. The breakfast was close to perfect. Excellent sausage, toast, mushrooms, hash browns. Only let down by the bacon which was rock hard and black pudding that was out of stock. I'm certain if i went again it would be perfect. My latte was also very good indeed.£7 plus latte but it's all of high quality

This is an up date on my review, as of yet nothing has changed. But they are now equipping the kitchen to enable serving hot sandwiches and full breakfasts, this should be within the next few weeks. I have to add that the staff in the cafe are absolutly fantastic. Please read the end of my review!!!This is an excellent supermarket. Good choice of items,and a wide range of quality products. If you have a booths card you can have a free coffee every time you spend anything. That also applies in the lovely relaxing cafe. Saturday lunchtime I have just caled in and am pleasantly surprised by live music, how relaxing and chilled out Unfortunately after opening the cafe after lockdown, they have decided that you can't have any hot food in the cafe. Even though they still make and serve hot sandwiches, and hot snacks you are not allowed to have them in the cafe 'take away only' This is madness to me, and has upset a lot of the regular customers, who do not go any more. But they have repackaged the very limited sandwiches they have in the cafe and nearly doubled the price. Also no more coffee. Bad move Booths, no wonder your cafe is now empty!!!!!

Ordered 1 large breakfast and 2 small breakfast. After 45 minutes 2 breakfasts arrived 10 mins later the other one arrived by this time we waited 55 minutes. The last one had raw eggs on the plate touching other food so was taken back. My refund was not offered I had to ask for it.. They clearly had only cooked 2 out of the 3 breakfasts. Service very slow. Tables left with dirty dishes on them because of staff shortage...not the best advert at all..

Not cheap but nice. Good quality range of foods. Recommend the deli counter. Polite and helpful staff and free parking. Altogether a worthwhile first visit.

The restaurant /cafe is a joke at its best.Every time I go in there are tables that have not been cleared. There is always a queue and some of the staff are miserable. They cannot say it's a staff shortage as two staff members stood and watched as my friend cleared our table and actually took the tray to them!Saying that, I used to love sitting by the window on the comfy sofas with lovely food.I asked to be called by the manager just to see if she new what was happening but I did not get a phone call.On that, both myself and my friend will not be returning neither to the cafe or the shop. (The staff in the shop are exemplary by the way).

Always polite and pleasant staff. The quality of the meat and diary is always brilliant.Great selection of beers and spirits ready to stock up on for the weekend

A good roomy cafe which works well in these trying times. Savoury food good but poor choice on offer, more sweet treats than savoury but some of them are very, very sweet. Not enough staff to keep on top of clearing tables at peak times which let's the cafe down.
