Captain Cook's in Pendle

Absolutely disgusting food. Ordered a milkshake ive tasted better tap water chips as dry as a bone and my nan can cook a better curry than this place. Tried giving my dog the naan bread and even he turned his nose up at it! Absolutely disgusting food and rubbish service. Definitely will not be ordering again 🙄

Not very happy at all, ordered a chicken burger meal on the meal deals for £3.50. Only to receive a burger, then got told I only ordered a burger. Even have the screen shot of it. Would never pay £3.50 just for a plain chicken burger.

Best service in town! Love this place for their amazing customer service as well as their delicious food. The staff are super hardworking and friendly. There is plenty of indoor seating to dine with family and friends. The menu has a great variety of delicious food to choose from at reasonable prices. This takeaway is situated in a prime location just opposite the bus station. The chicken karahi curry is very nice. Would definitely recommend this place 10/10

I wish I had checked reviews before ordering. Food arrived on time but was terrible itself. I asked for oregano topping and they dumped whole box onto it. Trust me, IT WAS A BLACK MARGARITA BY THE LOOKS! Even the one without oregano was tasteless extra loaded with chicken which wasn't fresh. Such a waste of money and food. HAD TO DUMP IT ALL

Used to be great but recently deliveries take ages and turn up barely warm. Food quality has taken a tumble too.

Really rubbish food. Moreover asked for sauce on chips they somehow forgot even they're the deadest takeaway in town. Half the pizza was toppled over when I opened it and was overloaded with topping. The Pepsi was alright tho🤣👍. Dont know who's running the show there they need to wake up. Next time gonna stick to papas pizza and LITERALLY ANY other takeaway except from "captain cooks". Would not recommend this place at all unless u need a can of drink 🤣🤣

How can a phone order take over an hour and a half. Ordered a large donner and 1 small but small had more donner meat than large. Meat feast pizzas lacked meat but plenty of sweetcorn.Worst of all 1 and 1/2 hour later food was cold. Stick to what you know.

Sadly the kebab meat was not fresh, just reheated and tasted like rubber . Staff was nice and portion was good but a little pricy considering the area and what I got. I'm sure others may have had better experience but I won't be going there again.

Please stay away from this place. Ordered a 12 inch pizza and asked them to split it for which they charged an extra pound. The pizza was awful. The owners son was sat watching some Turkish tv programme. I will never go to this place or recommend it to anyone. The workers even look desperate.

Don't why this place has a sub average rating, it's the best place for good quality takeaway food! I've been ordering from here for the past year or so and I've never once had any problems, maybe a missing can here and there but that's it! Trust this place with your hard earned cash! Quality food. Decent staff and reliable delivery times!
