I stayed here for my daughters wedding, lovely room, comfy beds, nice clean bathroom, down points were, I ordered breakfast, scrambled egg was powdered, I expect real egg for that price!! Room far to hot to get ready for a wedding, 4 people

I was at a reveptìon following the funeral of a friend. The occasion demanded only small portions of food, but that provided was very good and well presented. The staff were friendly and helpful. The place itself is smart and appears to be well maintained.

The crispy belly pork was disappointingly soft and not crispy. The beef bourguignon was better. Had to ask three times for a glass of tap water with our meal.

The meal was average, the meal felt like the whole plate had just been microwaved. Especially when the veg is boiling hot and same temperatureas the rest if the meal, if you know how to cook vegetables you know they shouldn't be that hot.

Had a great Mother's day meal here for 6 adults and one child.....3 generations and 3 mothers. Really good quality food in the set meal but overfaced myself with 3 courses..would have been satisfied with 2 courses!

Best food we've had out in ages and a big improvement on last visit here about a year ago. But steak & mushroom pie far too salty and lacking in steak. Bring back the steak & ale pie which was much nicer. And chicken strips were missed too. Otherwise excellent.

Beautiful building which extremely well cared for.The internal decor is magnificent too.The staff are all very attentive but professional, with excellent service skills.The food is cooked fresh and it was delicious.If you want a quaint and pleasant lunch is an outstanding setting, this is a good choice.#PhilipSmithLawrence

I cannot think of anything that could be improved upon in respect of this place.The exterior of the building is beautiful. People evidently work exceptionally hard to ensure that is is well maintained.The food was wonderful and nicely presented. It was absolutely lovely. The menu choices were excellent.The members of staff were knowledgeable about the menu and could answer questions that were put to them. The man who took our orders gave excellent recommendations. He was extremely kind and helpful.I highly recommend this place.

First visit. Great ambience in these troubled times, first meal out since first lockdown, food was excellent, very busy, only drawback was the long wait to be served and between the courses. Staff very effecient and friendly. Would recommend and we would go again without hesitation.

We stayer here for one night over the bank holiday weekend. I wanted something special, something abit more luxurious than we have had before (not that we dont love budget stays) and this is certainly what we got! The junior suite was very spacious, clean and comfortable. The bathroom.....just waw! Pleasant staff on reception and a great location near the Forest of Bowland.
