Been to Grannys Kitchen a few times and always have something to eat and it's always nice. You can sit by the window and have a lovely view or sit on the balcony overlooking the market. The staff are always really nice. Visited again and had some nice food and a good laugh with the staff. Well worth a visit.

What can you get for a fiver these days?A decent Full English with a bru if you go to granny's kitchen. It's a clean place staffed by friendly down to earth ladies. The view out of the windows over the hills of colne are a bonus. The cafe is old fashioned but i thought that was quite charming and it is clean and organised. It's not the best breakfast available but it was well cooked and tasty and I'm definitely going back.Premium sausage and bacon would in my opinion make this one of the best breakfasts within 15 miles but then it wouldn't be a fiver!I'm being critical here it was really good

Good food, had a 'Grandad's' breakfast, and the prices are about the going rate for the area. Nice staff/service, and tables and dining area looked clean and presentable, which decent decor. Haven't been here in a while, and I suspect it has changed hands since my last visit, though I can't be sure. Even so, they've done a good job. I like how there's tables and seats on the balcony area overlooking the indoor market, and there is a good view through the windows of the hills and countryside at the opposite side of the room. The fried bread (which is optional) that came with the breakfast was the best I've had in a while - not like a crusty brick as you get from many other places, but soft and nicely fried.
