The Craven Heifer Inn in Pendle

A great place to have a meal, lunch or dinner.We have been to the Craven Heifer a few times to eat and have always had a great time.The place is very clean and nicely decorated and the service is very friendly and approachable.The food we have eaten has been well cooked and presented nicely on the plate.It may be advisable to book as it is a popular place to eat.

Nice two nights spent in a double room, well equipped (hair dryer, adapter plug for us continental boys). Food was splendid (see Fotos! Go for the lamb for dinner and full British breakfast - you won’t regret) as well as the service. Thanks for making our stay so nice!

Our Daughter got us a wowcher deal for our Xmas present. Although the room was very nice and spacious, the staff were very friendly. It was a bit degrading when because it was a wowcher we couldn't eat in the dining room and it was a different menu and very limited choice. Apart from thet it is a lovely place to stay.

Had the katsue chicken curry for lunch wasn't very nice, the rice tasted like it was out of a packet and same with the sauce and the presentation was shocking, seabass dish was lovely but presentation let the dish down.

Really nice friendly hotel/restaurant with really great food. The steak and ale pie was particularly lovely!Bedrooms in the main building front onto the road though, which woke us up from 4am with lorries hitting the potholes.

Staying here on my own at the moment due to doing a driving course in skipton, staff have been excellent, super friendly and always ask how my day has been when I get back, food is five star, room is clean and warm, shower is powerful, couldn't ask for more, thanks for making my first stay alone a good one, as I was super nervous! ❤❤EDIT: I passed my test 😁😁

Only visited for a meal which was fabulous. The staff were very good but I only gave three stars because none of the staff were wearing masks nor were any of the reception tables wiped down. Obviously the tables that were used for eating at would be cleaned but we saw three different parties sitting at the reception tables and not once were the tables wiped down.

What a great find. From the telephone call for booking to the checking out after breakfast the customer service was superb & we felt looked after. Well trained polite friendly team. Delicious food. Our room was clean the bed was really comfortable. We will be back. Thank you.

Used a gift voucher for today's lunch, queen scallops in a cream and chorizo sauce, creamy garlic mushrooms for my wife and we both had the turkey dinner main course. All nice and hot, well presented and great service.

We popped by for a meal and drink whilst on holiday. The food was absolutely fantastic, good selection and great service. Milo our dog was looked after too 😊 I wish we had discovered this pub earlier in our holiday as we'd have been back! Best meal out we've had in a very long time.
