Really great staff and clean pub well kept cellar

Had a Sunday dinner and it was delicious! Great variety of cask ales and wines. The team were so attentive too - will definitely be back 👍🏻

Amazing pub, very accommodating to any dietary requirements, cosy and exemplary customer service from all staff. Made to feel welcome and food was excellent to top it off. Would definitely recommend.

Vegan review:I was struggling to find somewhere that had vegan options on the menu for a family meal! The menu had a dedicated vegan and vegetarian section. There were 3 vegans, we opted for the lentil pie with chips and curry sauce for £1 extra. They ran out of the lentil pie and only had 2 portions left but said we could have a vegetable bake. We decided to split everything 3 ways which they were happy to do for us. The food was actually better than I expected!For dessert I had the rhubarb and custard cake which was served with lemon sorbet. The lemon sorbet wasn’t nice at all and didn’t go with the cake, the cake was good though.

Really surprised. Food was lovely, nicest burger I've had in a while. Chocolate fudge cake was amazing and huge portion. Staff very friendly. Definitely be back 👍👍
