Excellent facilities with friendly staff, although £4.60 for a pint of estrella was steep!

Visited for a funeral wake and everything was nicely done. Attentive staff and good food. Beer was ok. Wainwright's and 61 Deep. Looks like it needs investment soon but still a decent venue

Course in great condition greens a little slow, but still good.

Lovely course, beautiful fairways, greens excellent, but slow, very friendly people. Well worth a visit. We'll be back.

I played a two ball last week and can honestly say it's one of the best course I have played.The course was in fantastic condition and so picturesque.The main thing I noticed were the members, everyone said hello, how are you etc. The 4 ball behind us stopped to ask what we thought about the course and we had a good laugh. The members really do the club a good service.For £30 greennfee I will definitely be back.

course is lovely laid out and credit to green keepers for trying its upmost to keep on topBUT BUT BUT please be aware, visitors (non members) to this club will be treated very differently and badly. BEWARE of the chairman (George) he will be hiding behind trees etc watching you are not doing something wrong. Members have a habit of tell tailing to George if visitors do anything wrong. if you do something wrong George will be waiting for you on the 18th greenclub house staff are reasonable but under the influence of Chairman George. the chairman needs to learn to respect equality of race & gender and try to adapt a more friendly approach. maybe if the chairman wasn't there the club would be so much more pleasant to visit regularlyso please beware - you have been warned

Best prepared course in the area of Preston, always welcoming and a true test of your golfing ability. The food is excellent and high class in variety and presentation. There is always a welcome and friendly face at Ashton & Lea. Practice Facilities are currently under development and will undoubtedly add to the overall superb experience
