Quick service, very nice looking place with friendly staff and the children enjoyed their bacon and sausage sandwiches. On the other hand the eggs benedict was a disaster, one egg undercooked, the other over cooked, the meat was quite fatty, the muffin wasn't toasted, as you can see in the photos the hollandaise sauce was extremely pale, thin and tasteless.Definitely disappointed

Lovely experience, the conversion from church to restaurant is a lovely sight, you can enjoy the church windows as you dine.Food was out in good time, very tidy and fresh feeling. The food tasted clean and full of flavour with nice portions.Honestly I'd recommend this place for a lovely brunch date on a sunny day.

Date of Visit: 22/04/22Order: Fritot de brie + Croque monsieurPortion Downsizing:-The starter of deep fried brie was described as having a caloric count of 485. For reasons viewed in the picture, I am of the belief that the majority of the calories from that description are attributable to the quantity of plum chutney that I received.I have eaten at this exact location Bistrot Pierre restaurant before, and the portion size of the brie starter appears to have been downsized massively while the price has remained the same. The inconsistency in portion size had been enough of a surprise for me to take a photograph, while me and my partner were both of the same opinion that it was ridiculous compared to our previous visit.Disorganised Bar Staff:-Furthermore, part-way through our meal we requested additional drinks from the server that had asked us whether we needed anything else. Our drinks were selections from the flavoured tonics and so after five minutes passed we were confused as to what was taking so long. A waitress ended up going behind the bar to grab our bottles, open them and bring them over to us, as it seemed the barman was busy cleaning.Congregating Staff:-Afterwards, it appeared staff members had come in to start their shift. Though the restaurant was not particularly busy, having six members of staff congregate to talk behind our table, at the top of the stairs was not exactly 'atmosphere', so much so that the barman did request that they stop congregating as it 'looks bad'.Ultimately, the portion sizes have been decreased a significant amount, staff appeared disorganised during a non-busy period and the atmosphere was not as anticipated.

The food were good but not the best, price are alittle high for what you pay for but none the least the venu are lovely and has charactor as it is an old converted church.we have only been for the breakfast, overall expericance were good with very helpful staffs. worth visting .

The food is always pretty nice here. We've never had a problem with it, or the staff. The building is beautiful, but that white paint needs a re-do. 🙂. Yesterday, the alarm went off, and the key was with the manager somewhere else. Staff were completely honest about it, stayed calm, and we came back later. Have never regretted dining here.

This is a comfortable place for a civilised lunch. The decor is interesting and has quite a few aspects of the old church building incorporated into the design. There are booths for a more intimate meals and large longer tables for bigger groups. The service was friendly and relaxed although some of the staff seemed a little inexperienced. The food was tasty and the menu was varied, mid priced. Not the sort of place you would go to if you were looking for a cheap meal. Definitely worth a try if you are in the area.

The meal was excellent. The building is a stunning setting and we were treated well all evening by friendly staff. The food was absolutely delicious, as was the house wine. Very reasonably priced for what you get. We will definitely be returning.

I promised to leave a review. We came on the 4th September 2021 and I have to say the atmosphere was spot on. The new staff they have no worked their socks off! We never went without anything. Always had drinks on the table and service was 10/10. The only problem was we couldn’t stop late because we had the train to catch. We stayed later than we normally do and caught the last train back to Blackburn. They couldn’t do enough to help! I didn’t get the girls names but I mentioned it to the manager and he said he would pass comments on. Thanks for a great night. Will be back soon! From the tanned, tall lass with tattoos and the sparkly dress!
