*Beware of parking fines in Marriott hotels!*I absolutely loved this hotel, used to be the best customer service possible. I stayed at the Preston Marriott and Heathrow Marriott and at no point during my stay was I told I needed to register my car - there are no signs on the check in desk and the receptionist will not tell you that it is a requirement. It is a money making scam and if there are signs they are not obvious.I was on company business and we use Marriott as a preferred supplier and our company have had multiple complaints as this is happening to our employees regularly.Extremely disappointed and we will look elsewhere next time on company travel.

Great hotel, high quality rooms and fantastic customer service!I was made to feel incredibly welcome from the moment I arrived to the monent I left. The staff are also exceptionally friendly and very accommodating with any requests or extra assistance you may require.Thank you for a very pleasant stay 🙏🏻😁

Had a lovely stay. Bed was great, but the quilt was far too hot. (For me).My room was very clean, with lots of well designed space, but a bit tired and could do with a makeover. The pool and gym facilities are outstanding. Highly recommended. There's even a top notch hairdresser within the hotel. The bar/snack area is spacious, with outside patio and tables. Staff were very attentive. The grounds are stunning.I look forward to returning, when the chance arises.

I had booked an event hall “The Orangery” for my baby shower function.. The hall arrangements and decorations came out beautiful. They were also able to accommodate my request for Indian vegetarian food options.. overall very satisfied..

Superb overnight stay. Everything was spot on from the food to the accommodation but especially the staff. Every one of them was really pleasant and helpful. I needed an e mail printing urgently. Not a problem to them. They were all happy, smiling and really efficient at their job. Ray from Barrow working there supports Liverpool so it's not all good but at least he's a nice fella considering this

Our extended family (ranging from 7-70+) had a lovely night here. Making full use of the facilities,- bar, restaurant, swimming pool - we were thoroughly supported by the young , multi-cultural, staff . The room was spotless and the beds were huge! Would certainly return.

The room was cold at night time . All night, the sound was interrupting our sleep like water will be dripping on the floor , I have no idea what the sound was there . in the corners between the walls and the ceiling full of spider web . Where the door to the room should be, it doesn't exist at all, it's good that at least the front door is there and closes. The water in the bathroom is half hot - cold, does not mix, it is not convenient. But it didn't spoil the mood, as we went to rest, tried not to spoil our evening because of such things. But I can't give this hotel four stars. Maximum 2Will I come back there? Definitely not 🙂

Came here for a work event. Staff were all very friendly and helpful. The food and tea/coffee was excellent. Everywhere was very clean, especially the toilets. The gardener outside looked magnificent. Phone signal was poor and the wifi wasn’t excellent.

Nice building and lawn but interior tired, with old carpets and a lift wasn't working. Staff are very good but systems and processes are poor - it took ages to check-in.Bar isn't suitable for kids, meaning there isn't anywhere for a family to eat in the evening apart from room service. Food is Wetherspoons pub quality but three times the price. No kids menu.Don't be fooled by the photos of empty pool, gym, steam room. The facility is open to then public and was very busy on the Friday evening we were there.I'm somewhat surprised/bemused at the many positive reviews. In short: rather stay at a Travel Lodge or Premier Inn and spend the saved money at a proper restaurant.

Stayed 1 night in a King room. Asked for flowers and a bottle of champagne to be put in the room prior to our arrival. This was done thank you. Reception staff absolutely brilliant. Room very tidy but a very dated bathroom, would of expected a walk in shower. Television had a mind of its own, would keep turning itself off after various times of being on.The food was exceptional, fantastic. Evening meal and breakfast.Main complaint along with the dated bathroom and telly was we wanted to have a drink at the bar before leaving and while waiting for our lift to turn up but we was told, sorry bar is shut until 12 midday because of covid. I explained we was still a resident until we check out but that did not seem to matter. Disappointing end to the stay.
