Well, where to start, staff were not very warm or welcoming on arrival. The decor was incredibly dated, like from the 90s. The carpet was just disgusting- seriously needed some modernisation. The cleanliness, well, the wall mounted lamp had dead bugs and clumps of dust in there. Spillages all over the wall, and the bed frame had something extremely dodgy on it, but I darent investigate further. On checkout we told the lad at the reception we could smell marijuna all up near our room and he was not at all phased by it. I appreciate it’s difficult to determine where the smell is coming from, but it was just the lack of interest that threw me. Pros-ideal location, bed was pretty comfy, and the bathroom was pretty spotless in all fairness. It served a purpose for somewhere to stay, but not really somewhere you would want to make as your “base” for a holiday or anything.

Easy check in. Decent size rooms. Reasonably clean but it needs a few things updating as things like carpets/ floors in bathroom looking very worn and grubby.Tasty coulis and yoghurt for breakfast. Eggs very anaemic looking and not refilled enough. In general need to refill more as there was a lot of guests at brekkiNo fridge. Has some complementary tea and coffee. Limited storage and no extra pillows.Could hear noise from other rooms

Great place for quick pit-stop. Rooms are basic but clean and good for the (cheap) price. Staff very friendly and helpful. If you’re breaking your journey along the M6, you could do worse for sure. And pet friendly too!

This hotel is currently very much in need of a refurbishment. The bedrooms and bathrooms are tired and worn. The room furniture and facilities are very basic. The door entry system to my room was troublesome and defective. However, the bar and breakfast area are quite nice. The staff were pleasant and approachable. I wouldn't rush to stay here again, but it was a convenient overnight stop.

Friendly staff but uncomfortable beds and heaters were temperamental. Sofa beds not prepared and on suitable for young children. Good location, supermarket's nearby with other stores only a couple of miles away.

Where to start...we arrived in Preston last night quite late to be greeted by a worker that definitely is fond of a line or two. His eyes were like saucers and could barely string a sentence together. The reception is open plan with the dining area and the smell of chip fat/grease is revolting. This smell carries its way through the lift and onto the third floor where our room was. The rooms are extremely outdated, dark dingy and disgusting. The dust on the carpet is literally thicker than the carpet itself, both bed side lights not working and the light that is working every time it’s turned on the switch cackles and is a health and safety hazard. Bed covers and towels stinking of the chip fat and grease so much so I’ve had to rewash my hair this morning and will be washing every item of clothing I have brought with me. The hotel manager today has moved us room without question and given us a drink voucher to use on our second night for the inconvenience which was appreciated but won’t be back. Do not book this hotel

Location great just off M6 . I arrived to the hotel with no one on reception so I called out a number of times for someone to book me , they could do with a buzzer, reception area clean and tidy . Lift had hand sanitizer inside would have been better at entry of the lift . Room 322 initial inspection was tidy and clean , carpets need updating , windows seals have gone. Bathroom needs updating shower sealant in bad repair, sink unit stained plug hole rusty, toilet handle loose all things that could be easily repaired with a small budget . Bed Headboard paint peeling, bed was made bedsheets clean mattress protector needs replacing . The bed had a mattress topper which made the bed comfy , the duvet was thin leaving me feeling cold . It could have done with bed runner and a cushion .Coffee and tea facilities was good and clean . Ironing board and iron provided . I didn't take breakfast , but they seem to have a good selection . On exit I was asked how everything was the lady did say they are in the process of some repair .Summary with a little money spent it could be a nice hotel I would give them a 4 out of 10 . It would be interested to see after refurbishment . Thank you

Room was lovely and warm. Bed ok. Bathroom clean and well equipped. Food and bar service excellent. Top marks to Kajel. Give her 12 out of 10 for her personality and helpfulness. Will definitely use again.

The Night guy was super attentive, very professional, and made me feel very at home during my past couple days! The room was great as expected but I'm very thankful for the excellent service I've received just off one single member of staff!
