Lea Gate in Preston

Service very good. Even got an apology for a delay, that was not that bad. Only really disappointing thing was the cheesecake kabab, disgusting. Hot sweet potato fries and awful chocolate wrap. Tried to complain but manager never appeared.I'd visit the venue again, but not dessert. Said there was an ice cream bar, couldn't find it.All told nice place, just needs a bit of tweaking and it would be amazing.

Brought a friend from Manchester to visit and they loved it! Friendly pub, service was very quick and the staff were lovely. I ordered the burger combo and the food was amazing, the steak was cooked perfectly!I was served on the bar by Eloise and at the table by Lauren P and Abi who were all very lovely and polite.

Good little spot, it's a hungry horse so it's cheap and cheerful, nothing special. Staff were very friendly and are definitely the selling point for the place. Low stock on many of the food items but I suspect that had something to do with the bank holidays.

Visited the Lea Gate for a meal today. 6 adults, I child. Four out of the six adults orders were not available, and when we reordered the food was at best luke warm and not cooked to standard. The pub was very quiet so you would think they were cooking to order and it should have been better. We only saw one member of staff who served us drinks, took our food orders and served the food.Non of us finished our meals and did comment on how bad it was when the table was cleared.We won't be back.Please reply to this.

Good food at great prices, staff always welcoming and there when you need them. Great place for a good priced meal and a few drinks.

Just enjoyed another gorgeous meal, 4 main meals all thoroughly enjoyed. , great service and reasonably priced! Lovely friendly staff. Definitely worth a visit.

Pre-booked but but didn’t go on the system and had IT issues, food was lovely and staff were accommodating, thank you for your service

Friendly staff, venue was fairly standard. And in places need of some love, but big plates of food at reasonable prices. 4 people had cooked breakfast, coffee for £20 can't really complain.

Reasonable priced. Clean tidy rooms with enough facilities to make your stay. Breakfast freshly prepared with no waiting. Staff friendly and helpful.
