Good fish but closes early

Drive over from Blackburn after reading rave reviews and a great newspaper write up. I’m sorry but just didn’t love up to expectations. Though the food was poor compared to others I have tried. Service really friendly, really nice to see so many Preston pictures on the wall and a great cuppa but just felt let down by the food.

The fish was fresh with a light crispy batter and the chips were perfectly cooked! The restaurant was friendly and unpretentious and it is full of photos and memorabilia of Preston.

Really good quality chips. The £1.25 deal for chips with gravy or curry sauce is really good value. Portion is enough to fill you for dinner. Staff always friendly

Great little chippy, great service and very reasonable priced.

Chips were good quality. But when asked if I would like Salt & Vinegar I said Yes Loads and I watched them put next to none on and in the wrong order. Yes Loads of Salt & Vinegar is basic English.

Lovely little chippy, right in the centre of town. I had a takeaway and the lady who served me was super friendly and the food was really good. Had a few chippy teas in the last month from various places, and hands down this was the best.It looks nice and cosy to sit inside, they even have an old hi-fi system with loads of CD's there I'm assuming you can choose to play if you like. Quirky and a great idea.I'd definitely recommend to try out if you're in town centre Preston

A hidden gem of Preston. Stunning interior, with hundreds of images of Preston past. Excellent food and service. Great portions and a mean brew.
