Morrisons Cafe in Preston

Never been to the cafe at Morrisons before, my partner took me for Breakfast and I really enjoyed and the price was reasonable, I couldn't manage the scone I got so a young lady gave me a box which I thought was very good definitely go again.

Hot chocolate wasn't that warm. Breakfast wasn't that warm. Table wasn't cleaned. Cutlery was dirty. With covid around to very bad. Should be closed down. Hygiene discusting

Waited 20 minutes to get served at till only to be told none of meals left we wanted (12.45pm). Shall not be going again.

Food quality depends on day you’re in, and opening time is depending on probably how drunk was staff day before… never on time… disappointing

Possibly the worst experience I have had when eating out.I'll start from the top, we arrived at 11:30am and the cafe was half full. We waited in line to be informed that food would be 30 minutes (we accepted this as we understand they are busy) and we ordered a large breakfast each with a latte. We were sent to a separate till for our coffee, this took around 15 minutes stood in another queue as only one barrista was working.We were then directed to a range where we could collect cutlery, although there were no forks. So we waited for the kitchen to come out with some forks, but the food come first. Our food was freezing cold before the forks were delivered to the cutlery tray.Once we started digging into our cold breakfast, we realised that no black pudding was included, I had finished my breakfast before I could flag a staff member to inform them of the missing items.Definitely won't be visiting again unless it is for shopping and I suggest you don't either.

The Preston Morrison's cafe was a nice experience The food arrived promptly, the staff were friendly and seems cleaner than the others

The cafe is relatively organised given the times we are currently in. Feels really clean. Good is good for the price. Recommended.

I still appreciate this kind of cafe, reasonably priced, simple, different from the usual chains and conveniently situated inside a supermarket.We have always frequented the Morrisons Cafe, here and Blackpool and other places; it's always been great.Primarily we enjoyed the fish and chips. Home cooked feel to the dish, lightly battered thick soft fish, well cooked chips, peas, tartar sauce in a little pot and bread and butter.Unfortunately our visit last night was a complete letdown.The service was very slow, the fish was overcooked, overbattered, overwhelmed by oil and the chips were very strange. They were little short bitty things, frozen probably but just tiny strips. Very odd....and come on Morrisons 'tinned peas!?' and then all shrivelled up. Stale bread.I have to say though that the side salads we ordered were excellent, fresh and full of ingredients...albeit that they seemed to have forgotten them on the original order and they were brought a bit later after we mentioned them!Perhaps we'll give something else on the menu a try, another time as I wouldn't like to see the end of Morrisons Cafe. On the other hand, perhaps we won't!!

Had a nice lunch, plenty of variety on the menu, food was good my meal was a breakfast quite yummy. After ordering food and drinks, you help yourself to your beverage, hot water, and coffee machines, it works well, and the cafe is kept clean.
