We went there for a wedding, it is a really nice place and the staff from the afternoon until the evening were so very helpful. The room for the wedding was decorated so nicely, l would highly recommend this venue to anyone

Stayed for a few days on a Spring break. Good, quiet and very comfortable room. Food really tasty and very attentive staff. Must praise Molly and Joe for their care and friendliness. Great value and will be returning

We enjoyed an afternoon tea at Farington Lodge. Staff were very friendly and welcoming, and the service was top level, and we enjoyed our visit very much.

A couple of years ago we used to regularly come for Sunday lunch and mother's Day every year. It was one of the best we had, beautifully pink beef, amazing tomato soup. We obviously didn't come for a while due to covid and I booked a mother's Day meal. We had to preorder, a minor annoyance as we never used to, but fine. The menu had drastically changed and it was hard to pick.Anyway to get to the point my food was just bad. The Caesar salad starter was inedible. I was shocked someone approved it. There was no dressing whatsoever. A wedge of lettuce, some crispy bacon, cheese and anchovies thrown on a plate with no dressing. I understand they basically deconstructed it but it tasted awful. I didn't eat it. Then the main - beef. Totally different to how it used to be. Loads of fatty chunks in it and it was dry and chewy. I didn't eat more than a mouthful. The rest of the roast was nice. Lovely gravy and Yorkshire.Dessert was fine. I had to give it them back and ask them to heat it because they gave me a stone cold hard brownie but once heated it was very nice£30 a head...very disappointed. I didn't tell anyone because I'm not the type, but unfortunately I don't think we will be coming back if that is the new standard. We didn't mind paying the prices as the food was amazing. Staff must have changed as that is not the case.

Went for afternoon tea with my husband, totally disappointed, they never even came and asked if everything ok, we got beef sandwichs which the beef was very red, infact at 1st I thought it was ham, that's how it looked, when we pulled it up the manager said he would sort something, and came back with 4 tiny stones in a white paper bag, sorry won't be rushing back

Had a lovely afternoon tea with my friend. We had a lovely selection of sandwiches and cakes. The atmosphere was relaxed and the service was very good. Would definitely recommend the afternoon teas to friends and family. Definitely be back again at some point.

Went for my mother in law's 80th birthday. There was a party of 30 with an age range from 5 to 80. We were looked after very well and the buffet food was excellent. There's a well stocked bar with drinks ranging from soft drinks, spirits, beers through to coffee.Several of the party stayed in the hotel rooms.Plenty of parking right outside the door.Located 5 minutes off the Leyland exit of the M6.

🏍Biker🏍 Spent a night here in this gorgeous hotel. Staff are attentive and welcoming, nothing is too much trouble. The meal was delicious and very well presented. The room is beautiful with high ceilings (my weakness 🤣) bathroom was spacious and modern.Definitely will be coming back again.
