Went today with my son who has some severe food allergies. Staff were fantastic. Couldn't have been more helpful in making sure his food was safe for him. And it all tastes great too! Highly recommend.

Dined here tonight with four friends. Waited 20 minutes to get served only to be told that what we ordered was sold out so we ordered alternative. All of our party had to order separately as no table service available. Only 2 staff at the bar with lots of people waiting. Absolutely diabolical. When the food did arrive it was cold. EMBER INNS you need to get a grip. Staff were lovely but food poor.

Really lovely stater stuffed mushrooms and a cheese sauce. Delivered very quickly and superb service.

I travel from stoke on Trent fortnightly to visit my mum and extended family. We usually eat hear and never have a problem reasonable priced. But our last visit sat 26th was not as good as normal, service was slow and items wrong.5 of us had eaten before my mum got hers. The manager was excellent he really sorted out my issue. He was apologetic and gave a refund. I was tempted to not go there again but once he explained what had happened chef issues etc then I can’t fault it

Hadn’t been in for awhile but I was really impressed with the staff. Really nice and helpful. Greeted us on the way in and when we left. Will definitely be going again.

I really like this pub. The landlord and the staff are very welcoming. Our waitress heard me say I felt a bit cold and offered us a table by the fire. She even put an extra log on for us. The food is good and at a reasonable price. We eat a late lunch/early tea here often

Went for veggie breakfast disappointed 3 times now twice cold but busy due to children having breakfast with Santa . But last time oh dear pub not busy ,asked well done poached eggs . Turned up raw on top egg still clear. Every thing stone cold couldn't eat it . Toast no butter either . To be fair got full refund but I would rather have had a lovely breakfast. Been here for other food always been OK. Don't know what happened but very off putting to say the least

Excellent table service with their app and reasonable prices for their draught lagers and Guinness. The outside seating area is brilliant, and the newly installed huts are exceptional, seating up to 8 people at a time. The interior of the pub and toilets were very clean and the staff were friendly and helpful. ☆☆☆☆☆
