The Continental in Preston

Fantastic venue and staff, one I've been working alongside for well over a decade, from the Lovely Egg's supporting Schervon on a Tuesday evening all the way to Thurston Moore and Michael Chapman.Not only this, the food is amazing, friendly staff, amazing coffee and they're supportive of myself running my own events at the Conti and helped set myself up as an events promoter in the beginning.I've learned so much, had so many amazing experiences and love working for them.

We turned up cold and thirsty on a busy Sunday afternoon. Unfortunately there weren't any tables inside. It looks like you can reserve them though. Anyway we were very pleased with the service. All the people working there were willing to help and served us promptly. We were served at the table after the waiter brought our meals. I had a delicious spicy chicken burger with skin on fries. Couldn't fault it. A proper piece of deliciously spicy chicken breast.Coffee was good and our friend had a pint of gluten free beer on draught. He was quite emotional. It was his first pint of draught since he had to go gluten free a few years since. Well done The Continental, you made his day.

Top draw very popular pub. 9 real ales and good selection of keg,craft,cider and bottles. Food is excellent. Highly Recommended

A great place, quite beautiful and in an amazing location....we recently attended the concert venue to see Henge and had one of the best nights ever!!

I can't rate this place highly enough, it's definitely Preston's hidden gem. Good atmosphere, great music and the food is outstanding

We visited The Continental on a Friday night to see a tribute band. We arrived alittle early and although busy managed to get around in the manual chair without too much difficulty. The staff were really friendly and helpful. The show itself was in the rear of the building and was standing only on this occasion. The band was really good and everyone had a great time.The accessible toilet was easy to get to and move around in.

Best pub in Preston. Great atmosphere, good position, close to the park, great food always and desserts. Some stuff on the menu are very nicely decorated, they have a good chef. Outside garden is great also. Big bonus for allowing dogs as well.Visiting it quite often, both in cold and warm seasons.

Not been for a few years. Hidden away but always very busy and on a cool January Saturday afternoon we had to sit outside but all in all very good for a quick couple of beers. Booking in advance for the next visit..

Met a friend for food, it was a warm evening so just fancied something light. We ordered 4 starters to share... Each one was absolutely delicious! The zucchini and haloumi fritters were particularly good. The staff were great, really polite and attentive. Definitely be back!

Visited July 2021, great beer garden perfect for a summers day. The session beer (Marble Continental) is very quaffable. Good food menu also.
