The Maharaja in Preston

Went with a group of 6, got to have been the worst curry we've ever had. Bland and poor quality ingredients, onion bhaji was dripping with oil. None of us ate them and the curries in full. The place is dirty and falling to bits, I've been to cleaner loo's in 90's Romanian Road side truck stops!On the plus side, very cheap prices, but you get what you pay for. Do yourself a favour, go to the kebab shop across the road, avoid the morning after 🤢 and give this place a miss.

Worst… worst curry and naan ever

First time using this place for a takeaway, and bit disapointent to be honest. The dansak I ordered was more like a Korma and more yellow in colour compared to other places i have had this same dish from where it was more spicy and more red colour the lemon rice I had was bland and not very tasteful compared to other places also the naan was ok apart from being burnt 🙄 hate the taste of burnt food. The popadoms were not as crispy as they can be they were a little bit soft. The chutneys were nice but don't understand why i got 2 mango chutneys one with herbs in it and one plain I would of rather had a lime pickle . Tried to post pictures of the food but can't seen to find how to do this 😒

Best curry in Preston by a long way if you like curry this place is a must

Great that my favourite restaurant is open again and the food is still excellent as ever and great service. 😃

The food is nice , the atmosphere is okay however the staff should be more happy and resting not as angry ... Recommend, the price is okay

This place never fails to deliver!The food is very tasty and well prepared, with a large variety of dishes. The management courteous and polite, atmosphere is nice and relaxed, the pricing is also reasonable too. In addition, this restaurant has received a 5-out-of-5 hygiene rating recently [March 2014], so you have peace-of-mind whilst you dine.All-in-all, a good place to have your favourite curry.
